Yes, I can be cynical, I raise my doubts, and aim for loopholes in logic as I see em. But, I enjoy reading / hearing what everone has to say whether they're shooting my errors or just plain shining some true inspirations.

So, let's have it! Share!

Hey! I didn't say I was a christian. I didn't say I wasn't. We can criticize each others postings, and that can be well and good. Still, we can still get along, be good sports, and be fair minded.

I would not qualify as a pure christian, but I have found faith in God and Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. This had all come about for looking back upon my life, I had been protected and given many opportunities though I was at my own fault for my own failures. Think second chance city, that describes most of which that had occurred to me during my atheistic days.

Then when it appeared that things in life were a lost cause, I had discovered a new found faith in God and have since gained a great new perspective in life that has since changed me forever. Though I have yet fully immersed into these feelings, my life has already dramatically improved for my faith has taught me to love our neighbors, to hold back from unnecessary and negative thoughts, and to act upon good in fear of doing wrong and burning in hell (or something of the equivalent punishment).

Basically, do good things with good intentions and there's nothing to fear when the time comes, but act in ways otherwise, and you'll be left questioning in the final moments. What happens after is yet to be known, but I'd rather go out knowing what I've done is good and shall there be an afterlife, I will not have to worry.

I must note that I've not been completely blessed as some might come off to believe after hearing my story. During my atheistic times, I had many ups and downs, like I was given one good thing and two bad things. At the moment, I'm economically poor, at a loss with few friends, had been emotionally beaten to the ground, and then I lost a part of my ear on my birthday, at which at that point, my faith in God was sealed.

Though lots of bad things had happen, I look toward the good things that God had given upon me, the fact that I actually live in a civilized and safe country with access to the Internet to be able to answer this question for one. Most people take these small basics for granted, but do not realize how blessed they are for it could always be much worse and I learned that the hard way. And yes, there is suffering around the world, but the decisions on this planet were the result of the people whom occupy it. Disasters and tragedy do not spare anyone, just look at Jesus. If that's not one of the worst ways to go out, I don't know what is, but if God were to do that to his only son, then anything is game for any of us.

You say this, yet you can't back up your own beliefs when questioned. I find that odd.

God has done many things for me lately. I have had prayers answered that could only come from a true God. He shows me everyday that He lives, the key I think, is to ask Him to reveal Himself to you. Pray with faith and watch what happens!

Delivered me from the bondage of sin. He has shown me that I am loved regardless of my imperfections and how to love others who have different beliefs, lifestyles and interests.

God has freed me from anger, hostility and taught me how to forgive those who have (in my mind) offended me. It was a great relief to actually forgive someone whom I felt wronged me.

God constantly shows His love, mercy and grace in a very wicked and difficult world.
