I have come to recognize two things in humans, and I am wondering if anyone can give a good example that contradicts these two premises...

1. The Human Will - We ALWAYS choose what we want most at any given moment. If we have competing desires, the strongest desires at that moment will win.

2. Freedom - We are not the source of our desires. I never sit down to establish my desires. Our desires just are what they are. And, we are NOT free to change the direction or intensity of our desires at any given moment in time. The only exception to this is when we already want to change our desires, but then where did THAT desire come from.

If #1 and #2 are true, then we do not have free will because we always do what we want most, and we are not free to change those desires that lead to our choices.

I also find out this truth from the Word of God:

"The king's heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord;
he turns it wherever he will." (Proverbs 21:1)

Have you ever noticed how much we theists get harassed for our belief but that when you question Darwin, or evolution the atheists get extremely defensive? Why do you think that is? Can't they handle a little honest information and questions?

For the longest time I have wondered the real truth about my family. My brothers are very very hairy and I wondered if they are primordials. For me, I am very smooth and have very little body hair so I thought , " was I kidnapped and put into this missing link family " ?. BUT, my brothers have accepted Jesus as their personal Savior. Can you tell me....does that propel them past the primal stage and evolve them into being Sons of the living God ? They dont act like big apes anymore and they are quite angelic. Plz advise me. TY...ur favorite Christian, Annie

2) All who curse their father or mother must be put to death. They are guilty of a capital offense. (Leviticus 20:9 NLT)

People like my sermons, and all. But when doing it, even sacriment, I feel empty inside. People say they feel the spirit when I preach, but all I feel is like a hypocrite. I'm having a crisis of faith, and I wondered should I just give it all up?

Anyone arrogant enough to reject the verdict of the judge or of the priest who represents the LORD your God must be put to death. Such evil must be purged from Israel. (Deuteronomy 17:12 NLT)

10 - You vigorously deny the existence of thousands of gods claimed by other religions, but feel outraged when someone denies the existence of yours.
9 - You feel insulted and "dehumanized" when scientists say that people evolved from other life forms, but you have no problem with the Biblical claim that we were created from dirt.

8 - You laugh at polytheists, but you have no problem believing in a Triune God.
7 - Your face turns purple when you hear of the "atrocities" attributed to Allah, but you don't even flinch when hearing about how God/Jehovah slaughtered all the babies of Egypt in "Exodus" and ordered the elimination of entire ethnic groups in "Joshua" including women, children, and trees!
6 - You laugh at Hindu beliefs that deify humans, and Greek claims about gods sleeping with women, but you have no problem believing that the Holy Spirit impregnated Mary, who then gave birth to a man-god who got killed, came back to life and then ascended into the sky.

I question things that I know aren't right. One example of this would be why does God allow some women to hurt their own children and the women who want kids so much cannot conceive. I question this all of the time and I frankly don't care whether or not I am supposed to.

Every scientist who approaches things with a different preconceived belief or notion will come to a slightly different conclusion. A creationist scientist will come up with totally different findings that one who starts with the "premise" of evolution. The theory of evolution proves nothing. As for the Big Bang, I am sure that when God created the Earth there was a big bang!
