9 - You feel insulted and "dehumanized" when scientists say that people evolved from other life forms, but you have no problem with the Biblical claim that we were created from dirt.

8 - You laugh at polytheists, but you have no problem believing in a Triune God.
7 - Your face turns purple when you hear of the "atrocities" attributed to Allah, but you don't even flinch when hearing about how God/Jehovah slaughtered all the babies of Egypt in "Exodus" and ordered the elimination of entire ethnic groups in "Joshua" including women, children, and trees!
6 - You laugh at Hindu beliefs that deify humans, and Greek claims about gods sleeping with women, but you have no problem believing that the Holy Spirit impregnated Mary, who then gave birth to a man-god who got killed, came back to life and then ascended into the sky.

#10 & 9 the Bible is our proof. And the dead sea scrolls. Which is more proof than athiests have. Evolution is a theory, rembember?
#8. The BIBLE aslo speaks of a Triune God. You need to read it! Aslo I have no idea what a polytheist is.
#7 I have no idea what Allah did or didn't do. I only know he is NOT the God of the Bible.
#6 again READ YOUR BIBLE!
And I don't have a clue as to what Hindus or Greeks believe. I am not out to save the world. Only my corner of it. If you have any mroe questions feel free to write.
#5 I don't know, need to know or even care how old the Earth is. Why anyone else does (including scinetists) is beyond me.
#4 Gos states this in the Bible. That eveyone who does not accept Him as Lord and Savior will be damned! If you don't like it -Take it up with HIM!
#3. My proof are the miracles that I have seen in my own life and those I know.
#2 Where did you get those statistics from? Some book? Who's keeping count? You and a bunch of other atheists?
#1)You obviously don't know as much about the Bible as you think you do. When was the last time you read the Bible with an OPEN heart! Wanting to understand rather than to look for "proof" that it's wrong?

Hello tutor5001.. :)

You have addressed this to me, since you have said You.. :)

10 - No, I do not judge someones else's beliefs in other gods, I can only feel Love for all, whether they condemn God or not, for I used to feel outraged, when a Christian would preach to me about Love..

9 - Why on earth would I feel insulted, or "dehumanized" by something I no longer believe in..Yes, I do believe we were created by God from the earth, do we not have all of the essentials within our bodies, from the very earth we live on..

8 - I laugh at no one.. :(

7 - I have some very close friends that are Muslim, I do not judge anyone..as for God slaughtering the babies of Egypt..it was not God who started this slaughter but the Pharaoh himself..Does God not have the right to protect His children, as I am sure you would for your family..

6 - I laugh at no ones beliefs..if you even read my posts you would know this..I also have many Hindu friends, I have met here.. :)

5 - I know that the earth is a young planet, I do not need to spend my life trying to find loopholes..for they are plain as day.. :)

4 - Yes, I do believe that many shall perish and go to an eternal torment..but that is the choice they have made, Jesus gave His life, so that others may live..you have control over your own destiny not us..we Love you and want to share this Love with you, so that you will be our brethren and find Eternal life with us.. :)

3 - the above question contridicts what you have said about us..do you honestly think I want to go back, hating and poking fun of others, just as you have done to us in this statement..the Answer is NO..I want to be able to Love and forgive others..
The evidence is the change in my life..from cruely making fun others faiths, to sharing the Love of Jesus.. :)
If anyone can show me where modern science, geology, biology and physics have changed someones heart to become Loving and caring to their fellow man and give them something other than themselves to live for..than I would go back to being an Atheist..but it didn't and it can't.. :(

2 - God answers ALL prayers..it is yes, no or wait a while.. :)
So the 1% you speak of, is the wait a while.. :)

1 - How is that possible..I used to be an Atheist..

===============================================

This Answer will go unoticed, by some..but if it only touches one heart to realize that a true believer in Christ, does not behave like was was written here about them..

You are in my heart, and my prayers.. :)

In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..In Christ..

There are some good points but there are also some wrong ones. For instance every prayer is answered. I think Collin Raye put it best in his song I get what I need-When I prayed for strength I got pain that made me strong, when I prayed for courage I got fear to overcome, when I prayed for faith my empty heart brought me to my knees, I don't always get what I want I get what I NEED. Anyway I will admit that there are non-Christians who have a better knowledge and understanding of the Bible then me. Not to insult them specifically BUT remember the Devil can quote Scripture. It really doesn't prove anything that they KNOW it. It is that I am trying to live correctly that is really more important. They know it, in some cases, simply to lead you away from God and our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. They are doing the work of the Devil. Some of them know it from curiousity I admit. I'm just trying to say watch how you phrase that arguement.

To helpme A polytheist is someone who worships Multiple Gods, Poly being many and theist being a religious refrence usually translates to God. Once again this is a problem with this claim. The Trinity ISN'T multiple Gods. It is 3 forms of the SAME God. There is only ONE God in the Trinity.

This "question" (!?!) has been "asked" dozens of times here already. The "question" contains many outright lies and gross distortions about the bible and true Christianity. Here are a few Scriptural thoughts to consider:

(Romans 16:17) Keep your eye on those who cause divisions and occasions for stumbling contrary to the teaching that you have learned, and avoid them.

(2 Corinthians 4:4-6) The god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers

(Philippians 2:14-15) In among a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you are shining as illuminators in the world

(1 Timothy 6:3-5) If any man teaches other doctrine and does not assent to healthful words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, nor to the teaching that accords with godly devotion, he is puffed up with pride, not understanding anything, but being mentally diseased over questionings and debates about words. From these things spring envy, strife, abusive speeches, wicked suspicions, violent disputes about trifles on the part of men corrupted in mind and despoiled of the truth

I"ll save the effort of responding to each of the 10 - simply put - I believe in Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God who gave himself a ransom for the sins of mankind and that through the grace of God we are all entitled to that free gift of a personal relationship with Jesus. And I believe anyone who does not accept this will die and spend their spiritual eternity in hell. And I believe that all prayer is answered, whether it is answered by my desires is irrelevant to the fact, as long as they are answered by God's desires. I believe all sciences are supported in the Bible and can find their answers within its pages. I do not laugh at other religions but pray that God will send someone into them to share the gospel and prepare the way for the Holy Spirit to begin a work in those people.

For me.. It is better to believe in something then not believe in anything. You make good points. Personally I have mixed beliefs. I dont' deny the scientific evidence of evolution but I also dont' deny the creation method either. I have debated this with family and friends for years and it it too much to type but in a nutshell. I think God created all to evolve and that is why and how we are all here today.

God exists. How He is manifested is irrelevant. Having true faith in a higher power is essential to humans, we need to believe in something greater than ourselves. Tolerance is a sign of true faith, intolerance is a human failing. By the way, I am a Wiccan and my beliefs are not tolerated by most, however, I tolerate persecution daily, and don't retaliate because my faith is strong and it is not my right to punish the guilty or the close minded, only to protect the innocent and share what I know with those who ask. Blessed Be.

very clear perspective, Tutor. I agree on all points. It saddens me that the greatest % of closed minded individuals i meet are also the most "religious". I am a spiritual person. I believe in God, love him, and talk to him all the time. I'm sorry that i cannot prove it, i just believe it. I makes me tired and sick and many times angry to listen to so many self-professed "saved" and "blessed" individuals see nothing wrong with the self-righteous bigotted hate that spews from their tiny brains out of their huge mouths. Good job.

It's very apparent from your "points" that the only people YOU consider Christian are 3rd grade dropouts from so far back in the hills that they don't even have indoor plumbing and whose preachers are as ignorant as they themselves.

Shall we tar all atheists with the same brush? Depicting all as intolerant snobs with little or no interest in the subject matter except as pertains to their desire to denigrate and destroy? Shall we consider YOU as an effete twit with less knowledge of Christianity than the average Hindu?

Enough with the generalizations and name-calling. You pride yourself on superiority over Christians yet your every word proves that they are correct in one area; ALL, including YOU, are sinners in need of salvation. TSK TSK TSK!

Pity you've never heard of Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela, John Paul II, etc. And of course, the millions of Christians who spend large amounts of time, money, talent and energy helping their fellows, irrespective of religious faith or the lack of it.

How simplistic. How shallow. How silly you sound.
