I have. I have been a counselor for over twenty years and feel that helping other bring their lives back into focus is the best way I can serve God. Good luck in you endevors, and put off answering your call for too long. Doing what you KNOW you are supposed to do is the key to a happy life. Numbers 6:24

People somtimes look for a higher calling from God. Something like the calling of Moses, or Noah, or Paul. Although this does happen, most people neglect the calling right in front of them as plain as day. The Bible lists so many life-style callings that few even mind. If you're not abiding by the little commands, why should God provide you with a higher calling? If you're not faithful with the little things, will he trust you with the big things?

Good for you. I found my calling at a young age but got away from it during my late teen years. After struggling through the first years of marriage I decided I would stop fighting what I knew as the truth and start living my life for christ. God has redircted my focus and giving me more then I know I deserved. With my wife and I's first child coming in less then a month, I look forward to showing him or her the truth about God.
Keep the faith, its hard at times but God is faithful.

Did God actually tell you this. I suggest that you stop reading what other people say about God and ask him to tell you what he wants you to do directly. Stop reading; clear you mind and listen. When you pray get you’re talking over as soon as possible and listen. He is trying to talk to you but your mind is full of nonsense from the bible and other sources. Don’t be surprised if what you hear does not sound much like what you have been told about God. You will be hearing Gods message minus the nonsense.
In your bible study have you ever heard of the small still voice? You can't hear it if your mind is otherwise occupied with other people’s silly ideas about God. Just try it you will be surprised

i'm a religious guy, yet i have actual under no circumstances quite concept two times about it, so no... I knew in a guy in extreme college that doesn't like Jay Z for the completed "hova" and "play Lucifer backwards" hogwash, i presumed he became bein stupid. EDIT: what i *DID* have a difficulty with at one time is how someone can make an album that talks about some no longer so christian-like issues, and then thank god on the awards tutor. yet its really basic now *shrugs shoulders* i dont be conscious it anymore.

The first step is to listen to God.
Why put it off? Would you like God to put you off?
Pick up the bible and start today!
Christ is all and in all.
Make a difference in what you say and do. It will rub off, this is a good start.
Actually 40 is about when it happened to me also, I put it off to, I am learning to include God in everything I say and do.
About my callling maybe it is to remind people that God is in everything we say and do.
need to talk mail me bhurditall@yahoo, sounds like we have alot in common.

I'm who he made me to be. Montaz.
I began to study to show myself approved at around 15 yrs.
To be a minister.
I am working at that now.
Yes I am.
I am doing it.
I'm not 40 yet, but 26.

I think that He is trying to tell me to get my grown children to take care of their health (one in particular). Another two, to straighten out their wayward behaviors, one to fix his marriage, and to communicate more with the two who do not live nearby.
The problem is, they do not take my advice or suggestions seriously, and continue doing what they're doing. I am feeling very guilty about it, and hope that at some point, I can do something to help.
