here are a few bible chapters against homosexuality, please read them before responding. The bible has stated this in more cases, it is a sin like others. Why is it getting so much debate unlike others by Christians? This is because it is the most widly accepted sin and is being taught as the natural. There is nothing natural about it.

there once was a monkey keeper who fed his monkeys nuts. One day when he said, 'I'll feed you three in the morning, and four in the afternoon', the monkeys became furious.
"Well, then," he said, 'I'll feed you four in the morning, and three in the afternoon'and the monkeys were delighted.

ps : well i don't mean that we becoming like monkey.. but do you think that sometimes our mind trick us just like the story above..

three in the morning and four in the afternoon is just the same as four in the morning and three in the afternoon.. but sometimes we think it different, don't we ?? what do you think ?

So, I'm not Christian. Seems like a glorified cult to me!
I like what Buddha said. Something along the lines of "do not just believe everything I say, think for yourself and find your own answers".
That's one cool line for a religion. Thinking for yourself.
Buddha was a teacher, not a dictator. God seems to be a dictator. He might have created me, but I don't have to do what he says. My mother gave birth to me but I don't have to agree with her on everything.

Jesus is worshiped as the son of god, as a part of the devine. his immage is reveared, and worshiped. He is a part of a trinity of devine beings worshiped by Christians, the farther, the son, and the holy ghost. How does this fit in with the number one of the 10 commandments. It sounds very much like a trinity of Gods each worshiped for their individual qualities, rather than 1.

You're probably right, for the most part, but who cares what religions the founders were. Let's remember what they were trying to do. They were trying to start a free country were religion and the government would not intwine with each other AT ALL. Saying that the US is a founded on God as an excuse to put up a cross or Ten Commandments in state-owned land takes away from the rights of non-Christians and is a dangerous start to a theocracy.

I don't want to live in a nation under god. I want to live in a nation under liberty, freedom and equal rights for all. We don't need to put god in the government to make it great.

Seriously, isn't it perfectly logical that we should teach our kids to worship a punishing god and study a book of lies and deceit. And, hopefully they will grow up to be good christians and blow up abortion clinics and hate anyone who is different from them and force their beliefs on others. I would love that. Because I want to see this world collapse before my eyes and watch the christians have to answer for sending the USA spiraling into poverty and eventually be taken over by the next superpower. That would be way fun!

And, have fun with the reports, you know as well as I do that they do no good.

Do you think religios books (the Bible, Koran, etc.) should be taught in public school systems so the kids can be taught the historical value not the religous value?

I would question such practice, because God's prophets haven't been wrong or "trumped" by a latter prophet.

For instance, Smith taught polygamy. Now, they have trumped Peepstone, their founder. I guess he didn't see it "correctly". Blacks were frowned upon in joining the church because they had a totally racist myth about a "debate" in heaven.

The apostle Paul was jailed, stoned and beaten for his beliefs. This did not deter him form spreading the gospel. Should we not be as strong minded and not be detered by atheists or the like. It does not matter what they say or do we should make know the gospel of Christ. Christ said they will persecute you as they did him and others before. We are no different, we even have it better because at the moment we do not face death in this country for sharing our faith. We should therefore be proud and stand firm be not wavered by evil.

I am not saying force someone to belief, but live a life that is Christ like and be an example for others to follow.

Too often I hear so called Christian polititians say they do not wear their religion on their shoulder, I think that is plain stupid. We are our beliefs, we are Chististians and Christ should be first before everything else.

Genesis 3:21reads, "The Lord made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them." (see also Genesis 3:7) In this account, when God banished Adam and Eve from the garden he still loved them. He cared about them. He sacrificed an animal in order to cover them and help them overcome their sense of shame. He could have woven a grass skirt and gave it to them. But he did not. He sacrificed an innocent animal. This points to the sacrifiicial system where God provides the sacrifice and the sacrifice involves the shedding of blood and the sacrifice takes away shame. Jesus was the final sacrifice provided by God. His innocent, shed blood on the cross takes away our shame caused by sin. God did it because he loves us. In that sense Genesis 3:21 is a prophecy about Jesus and what he does for us. Do you agree? Why or why not?

So, we are supposed to be a forward thinking, evolved species. So why are we supposed to do what god tell's us to?!
Back in the bygon ages people didn't wait until they were married to have sex. In Africa before the West took Christianity with them they had sex to procreate - as all animals do, they didn't have to have a ceremony.
If god created us all, he's created Gay people - so why is being gay wrong to a Christian?! It's not a personal choice, it's who they are.
Those who are brough up in a country where the major religion is not Christianity, why should they be punished for not having access to the 'teachings'? They are not believers...
Not allowing Condom use (Catholic) is inhumain for 3rd world nations. Did god tell the Catholic church that it's better for thousands of people to die? Women who have been rapped and been given aids or received blood transfusions have a right to have sex, why shouldn't they? But they can protect others too!
