here are a few bible chapters against homosexuality, please read them before responding. The bible has stated this in more cases, it is a sin like others. Why is it getting so much debate unlike others by Christians? This is because it is the most widly accepted sin and is being taught as the natural. There is nothing natural about it.

Genesis 19
Romans 1
1 Corinthians 6

The most widely-accepted "sin" is lying, cheating, stealing, etc. Sure it's frowned upon, but who's doing something about it?
Homosexuals aren't hurting you. If you want to fight for a cause, stop kids from lying; stop adults from stealing; stop buisness presidents from cheating.

The 1st reference to homosexuality in the Scripture is in Genesis 19. Both Peter and Jude make reference to it and describe the sin of homosexuality as "ungodly, lawless, unnatural and extreme immorality" (see 2 Peter 2:6, 8; Jude 7).
In Leviticus 18:22 and 24 homosexuality is described as an "abomination" and "defiling." It is reprehensible and unclean.
In Leviticus 20:13 it is again described as an "abomination."
Deuteronomy 23:17 forbade the presence of a "sodomite" in the land of Israel.
An incident similar to that of Sodom and Gomorrah is seen again in Judges 19. Again the sin of homosexuality is described as "wickedness."
In 1 Kings 14, 15, and 22 the removal of male prostitutes from the land of Israel is viewed as a sign of much needed spiritual
reformation.
The prohibition in Deuteronomy 22:5 of women wearing men's clothing appears to be a specific condemnation of transvestism.
In Romans 1:18-32 the Apostle Paul condemns the practice in the severest terms. Homosexuality is "unclean," "impure,"
"dishonoring to the body," "vile," "degrading/disgraceful,"
"contary to nature," "unseemly/obscene," "improper activity of a
depraved mind," "unrighteous," "wicked," etc. of particular importance to the apostle in this passage is the fact that homosexuality is "unnatural" -- contary to nature. In other words, nature itself teaches that the practice is wrong; we all know it
intuitively. Homosexuality is, then, a particcularly rebellious sin.
Also read Romans 1:24-32. Read 1 Corinthians 6:9-10.

Do not point your finger an anyone!
That is a sin - you are accusing a whole
lot of people of being sinner.
...and God created mankind in his image.
My question here is - How many faces did God have?
Look at all the ordained minister (no matter what church)
who are homosexual - they should know for certain that they
are sinners. And still they are preaching from the bible and
and conveniently overlook their shortcomings!
This whole thing is just a christian fantasy!
Don't throw the words of the bible at us - there are
other religions out there that do not gay-bash anyone.

There is no debate with me, but we (Christians) have to love these people regardless of their sin, the way Christ loved us inspite of ours. I do not at all condone homosexuality, but just as we need to love alcoholics and abusers, sexually immorality is no different. Sin is Sin and according to Merriam Webster Sin means:

1 a : an offense against religious or moral law b : an action that is or is felt to be highly reprehensible

2 a : transgression of the law of God b : a vitiated state of human nature in which the self is estranged from God
Our Job is not to judge because we are definitely without sin, just keep those people in your prayers as we pray and ask God to forgive us of our sins.

Don't forget about the other two books that explain about it and other ungodly things and what the penalties are for such acts as well as many others. They are: Leviticus and Deuteronomy. The answers for such acts and other things relating to disobeying God that explain what the punishments will be can be found in Lev. 26, and Deu. 28. If you read it carefully you will find that He will cause famines in our land, appoint terror to come among us, and other disasters.
Remember, God is speaking out these warning, not for the people of that time, but for the people of our present time right now. How do we know this? Because God is talking to the twelve tribes of Isreal which we americans are one of them. Many people either forget or don't even know about the 10 tribes that fled to the north and eventually migrated into the European countries. Then later they wanted to, as history even tells us, come to the new world, America, to be free and practice christianity and not be under the rule of a king or queen. That is how we are actually known as one of the twelve tribes of Isreal. We really are one of those decended people. Now because americans are turning their backs on God and saying there is no God, throwing Him and the Ten Commandments out the door is why God is going to punish us as He did with the Isrealites in the Old Testament. Also keep in mind that this has nothing to do with Jews or Jewish customs. The bible doesn't speak of Jews, it speaks of the Isrealites. Man himself has given those certain people the name of Jews.

By trying my best to follow what God says in the book of Leviticus I find that my life is better and I have better health. But, that is another story.

Why do you care what people do in the privacy of their own bedrooms? Why dont you focus your attention on something that will make a difference in the world. If every person that spends a day out protesting gay marriage and abortion would spend their time at a food shelter or volunteering for the United Way they might actually do something worthwhile in this world, instead of pushing their beliefs on others.

there's a narrative of sodomy which the bible interpreters take to advise that homosexuality is a sin and they ought to not get married. Fundamentalist Christians do merely not realize the real message of Christ and their Empire will be coming down.

Because so many are wanting to make it right so they can practice it. You are correct, there is nothing natural about it and God detests it so why not try to put God out of the picture and make a big fuss over it if that is the exact thing you want to do and you know it is not right but want it anyway. I can't imagine anything more disgusting to want but that is where Satan comes from.

First of, only God can judge us. Second of all, the Bible was written in Greek so if you really want to interpret it word by word get the real Bible. And what do you know about natural, you only speak about things you learn by experience. If you were raised by gay parents you would think it is normal.

Many want the Bible menu, where they can pick and choose.

God cannot be formed, but rather we are to let him form us. Those that refuse to believe that homosexuality is perverted can't even listen to nature, rather they will make excuse for sin.

Those that are looking through the Bible Menu evidently think they are God.

Rom 9:21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

Conforming God to they way you want Him is like clay forming the potter.

Here's the passage that deals with rejection of God and homosexuals:

Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Rom 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Rom 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
Rom 1:23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
Rom 1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
Rom 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
Rom 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
Rom 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
Rom 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Rom 1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
Rom 1:30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
Rom 1:31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
Rom 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

TO Maurico below:

If your folly is true, then we can't distinguish what is wrong from right. You are totally misguided. The word will judge you.

Joh 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
