It is pretty ironic that so many atheists waste their time in the Religion & Spirituality section. Are they looking for validation that they are right? or Does it bother them that people don't share their opinions so much that they can't focus on anything else? Why be so consumed with something you don't believe in? If other people believe it, so what? You're not going to change anybody by posting here, so you might as well do things you enjoy. Nobody here did anything to you. You don't even know us.

In the last few Gay Pride parades I've been to, the bible-thumpers were out in force. They weren't loving. They were slanders threatening that we will all go to hell. They said things like God hates fags and downright hateful things that was un-Christlike. Was this how they planned to get people to come to Jesus?

Should the person be able to be a Pastor, Minister, Reverend, Priest, Bishop, Pope, or any other figurehead in a church?

If the word of God is right, does it matter who brings forth His word?

Do you think that Israel should withdraw from the Gaza Strip (which Israel just reoccupied), and from the West Bank for Peace with the Palestinians???

Also, do you also think that Israel should withdraw from the Golan Heights for Peace with Syria???

The Arabs have said on numerous occasions that thats what it would take for Peace to happen between all Arab nations and Israel.

The Palestinians want the Gaza Strip and West Bank for a future State of Palestine and East Jerusalem as their capital.

The Golan Heights is Israeli Occupied Syrian territory which Israel annexed.

Thanks for your input! :)

All christians always complain how there so persecuted, but there isnt one time in history where christians were persecuted specifically for there beliefs. The christians complain that they were persecuted under Nero just because they were christians, but like all the things christians say, its a lie. They were persecuted because they were railing against the government, not because they were christians. They brought it on themselves so that doesnt count as persecution. NOW, and as for there lies that there persecuted today in some countries, they also brought that on themselves. The christians go to other countries to try and convert everyone, there just instigating. If they didnt want to be persecuted then they shouldnt try and convert everyone and then complain that there so persecuted when people fight back on behalf of there own religion or non religion. The truth is that all of the persecution in history comes from christians again non christians. What do you have to say to that?

also does it say in the Bible that a country who uses women in battle will lose the war. I have never heard of it. This lady who e-mailed a pastor friend of mine is upset because we (the clergy) is not speaking out against the war. I need to know which Bible she found it in so does anyone have any proof it exists.

Jeremiah 42:6 Whether it be good, or whether it be evil, we will obey the voice of the LORD our God, to whom we send thee; that it may be well with us, when we obey the voice of the LORD our God.

How can it be good to do evil? How can it be good to obey an evil command?
