In the last few Gay Pride parades I've been to, the bible-thumpers were out in force. They weren't loving. They were slanders threatening that we will all go to hell. They said things like God hates fags and downright hateful things that was un-Christlike. Was this how they planned to get people to come to Jesus?

To choose to have sex of the homosexual variety is wrong, but what they did was wrong too. The bible says "love your neighbor as yourself", and "judge not lest you be judged".

But if they are unrepentant of their sins, then hey will be condemned as anyone will for sins they do not repent of.

To have homosexual urges, feelings, etc. is wrong but there is little you can do about it then to pray to God to remove such temptations, same as for heterosexual urges, feelings, etc. (specifically lust for physical relations in the case of hetero) or for anyone who is not your spouse, specially for those who are married or engaged to someone else.

To act upon these desires is a sin, which you can not claim you were born to do, by that logic a murderer was born to kill, a thief was born to steal, an adulterer was born to cheat, a pagan was born to hate God.

The bible teaches:" we will know they are Christians by their love" you have unfortunately been persecuted by denominational systems just like Christ was. If the law was not there to protect you they may even kill you also. So if we know now from their intolerance and hatred they are not real Christians, then what are they? The obvious answer is "false Christians" who follow a false god named satan.

In your persecution you are paralleled with Christ and I am sure that you feel some of what he felt before he was killed.

Now if you would like to follow a promise made by God, forgive them and love your enemies, do good to those that hurt you. If you do this then the Promise from God is he will heap hot coals upon their heads.

May the true love of God fill your heart and I hope someday soon you will meet real Christians who can love you without judgment. They are out there but not many in religious organizations.

Peace to you and your home,

Bondservant

yes it is there right as a US citizen to protest parades for sinful and evil activities.

And yes at times the prophets of God also pronouce judgements on the evil. So le me see, slander is only something that is not true, so since practicing gays who do not repent are going to hell, that is a true statement, so no slander.

And God does hate the sin of homoseuxal activity, and those that practice it, are subject to his punishment and judgement.

God loves all people, but does not accept what they do if it is sinful.

So sounds like christians trying to let you know that you are in error and need to repent or be subject to Gods wrath.

When people are afraid they attack . Weather it is someone with a different life style ,or a woman having the right to choose what she is going to do with her body, the list goes on, the point is when fear is involved, people try to get control over what they do not understand. Weather it is other peoples religion or personal choices in a mate ,or politics . What ever you dodo not poke them with a stick coz then they will explode and there hate will end up being spread like a virus. And we don't need that. Or you could pray for them to become open minded to what other are going through.

I'm sorry for those people. They should not be hateful because that is not being a good "witness". As a Christian, I believe that God loves every one of his children and that we are all sinners. Some of us just have sins that are more easily hidden, so we need not judge, but love one another. Only through Him can we be saved.

I think the protesters should be there, it is their right, it is free speech. I just want everyone to know that most of us Christians do not hate homosexuals. You hear the outspoken ones, but the loudest are not the majority. Most of us don't believe that your lifestyle is the "right" lifestyle, but that God designed you that way for a purpose. Only He knows for what purpose and that you should seek Him to find out. It makes some Christians uncomfortable to be around homosexuals because we do not want to be influenced by worldly ways, just as we are not comfortable around people who swear or drink in excess. We do not believe it is right for us, but we do not hate you.

God bless you.

No, it's not right to slander or threaten. While I believe homosexuality is a sin, I would not and do not hold that against anyone and certainly do not condone the actions you mentioned above. Instead of saying hateful things, they should simply say: God loves everyone and forgives everyone for their sins. God Bless you.

The Bible has the appropriate say on what a Christian believes. a real Christian church will purely settle for people who're gay in the event that they repent from their way of existence which God considers evil. Christian church homes that help agencies like that parade at the instant are not Christian era.

Only if your parade was going through their neighborhood! And then they should not say things or make bad remarks. That's makes them look pretty bad! They should get their children in and lock their doors and stay away from the TV and pray for your souls! That would be the Christian thing to do!

Some so-called Christians can be used as the Devil's instruments. This is not the way to convert nor do I Condone This. I don't agree with Homosexuality and there is always a better to reach out to those who are in living in sin.

The Bible does state that you are not to lay with the same sex... female female or male male... BUT the Bible also staes to love your neighbor as yourself and that you should not judge... In fact Jesus Christ himself said while with Mary M just before the town was ready to stone her for being basically a slut Jesus said "he that is without sin cast the first stone" every person in the crowd fled... So no it is not Christian to curse put down or anything like that to anyone. They should lead by love and example

absolutely. Just like it's right for people who march in Gay Pride parades to stand outside churches and picket them. It's called free speech. Part of this wonderful country we live in.
