I respect anyone's beliefs. Half of my family is JW. I am not.

The one thing that gets me is that they do not celebrate holidays. That's all well and good, but they don't celebrate the 4th of July, That one gets me. It has NOTHING to do with religion except that it gave the JWs the freedom to practice their religion. If it wasn't for that, they would be forced to believe in something else.

I have met quite a few JWs. NONE, I repeat NONE of them will be the 144,000 and NONE will even live in paradise because like most people that adhere to their faith, they are hypocrites! Preach one way of life and live another.

Religion and faith is in your heart. Treat others as you would have them treat you and you will have no problems now or in the hereafter - whatever that may be.

We were put on this earth to live! So why are all religions hoping for death? Live for today. Be yourself. Reap what you sow. Death will come soon enough.

He is not a Jehovah's Witnesses for several reasons.
I know them and they would never spell Jehovah with a small letter. They would know it is 144000 they get it out of Revelation chapter 7 and 14 says that. They are to rule with christ in the heavenly kingdom. The rest will live here on this earth.
they would never ask that question. I mean why do they go door to door if they believe they are the only ones. They go to teach people the bible. It was like the man who said, "Lazy mexicans they take all our jobs." Which is it can't have it both ways.

the essential issue upon which all is balanced in creation is that of free will

the Torah is built upon the foundation of free choice for all of humankind

we have human consciousness

nothing is inconsequential

when all these ideas are pulled together the relationship between the Creator and the creation dramatically shifts

are the jws really the best and only true religion?

probably not

but, then again is religion neccessary?

what is more important is a deep close personal relationship with the creator and with the jws this is lacking

they lack emotion

but, they don't lack sincerity

remember this: every action affects not only this reality but also other realities, and all of creation is interconnected

religion is indeed an opiate and the jws are one of the biggest of them all........they even have a magazine called "awake"........

Jehovah's Witnesses really do represent the only biblically consistent form of Christianity practiced on earth today.

It seems signficant that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones best known for their worldwide preaching work. Yet Jesus commanded that ALL who would call themselves "Christian" perform this public work:

(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.”

Absolutely not !! I will take Roman Catholicism over the Jehovah's Witnesses any day. I hate the way the JW comes to my house unannounced and then cop an attitude when I don't want to convert. My religion is just as valid as yours. Why don't you become a Catholic? One thing though. I will never come to your house to beat you over the head with my religious beliefs. Jesus said , "Whoever believes in Me will be saved". Heaven is open to everyone.

Religon is not of God. His word teaches us of a five fold ministry and Jehovas witness' don't even believe God speaks to you. They believe this is only for their enlightened ones. God's word says He is a respecter of no person's. Their are too many religons that have requirements that don't line up with the Bible. Try asking God to prove Christ in your life if he is real. Every year Jehova Whitness' talk about Jesus more and more. I even know of a group that claims him as their savior. How convenient is that?

You miss one very, VERY important detail when believing you will be one of the 144,000 chosen...The revisionist of the Watchtower society forgot to put in their version of the bible that the 144,000 are Jews-- NOT gentiles. In the earliest versions of ancient manuscripts of the Revelation of John, Chapter 7 of the King James Version, there will be 144,000 chosen ones...12,000 from each of the 12 tribes of Israel. 12,000 jewish prophets x 12 tribes of Israel = 144,000 phophesizing Jews winning those left on earth AFTER the rapture of the Church is taken to heaven.

Therefore, unless you are a Jew...it really doesn't matter how much you preach...you WILL NOT be one of the chosen. However, a saving relationship with Jesus Christ as your personal saviour, accepting his gift of salvation by grace through faith alone. Actions and works will not win God's favor. But by believing in His son Jesus in faith will produce the character of Christ. We are not perfect, but we are forgiven. Being forgiven doesn't make us better, nor does it give christians a right to sin. In Romans 8:1 "There is therefore now, no condemnation to those who believe in Christ Jesus."

I will pray that your spiritual eyes will be open to the truth. God Bless you.

I do not think there is one and true religion that works for everyone. To paraphrase the Dali Lama of Tibet, we should respect all religions, but simultaneously realize there is only one and true religion for EACH person. Find the one for you and be true to it. Btw, I was raised as one of Jehovah's Witnesses and no longer practice that faith. Personally I think they have some good points, and some bad.

"All religions say they are only true and best one. What makes JW any different?"
I'm sorry crazyhumans2, have you thuroughly studied ALL religions?
I believe nobody has the authority to say something like that. and no i am not a jahovas witness

to answer your question: there is no "right" religion. do some research and pick one that has views you agree with

I think it is an occult! Only time will convince them though.Because they aren't allowed to read "The Christian Bible" they have to read a little book that some guy put together for them to live by.It's almost like a Jim Jones type following!
