I think that the real question is why does it bother you that someone who thinks something other than what you think should not be curious? Some people like to expand their mind and learn how others think, so that maybe they can understand why it is you do the things you do. Does it scare you to challenge yourself with a debate? If you don't want anyone who is not religious in the Religious & Spirituality section it kind of seems as though you are in a cult for elite members only.-Just an opinion. By the way I just happen to stumble onto this by accident, I've never even seen this site. I googled Kirk Cameron for fun.

You said to do something I enjoy. So here it is: I like to answer questions that people ask. The Religion and Spirituality questions are the BIG questions that everyone wants to ask, but they don't want to live the hard parts of life that will actually answer their questions. Theists and Deists like yourself are comfortable with an authority figure that tells you answers to your daily questions about behavior and purpose. I think your life needs to be just a little less comfortable so that you do some thinking for yourself. I'm not going to change your attitude, but if you pay attention to my answers, and do a little research, you might change your questions, and then I get more entertainment in answering those questions also. Like Elvis, God has left the building. Perhaps a collective New Age religious energy vortex can bring Him back, but in the meantime, He isn't so likely to strike me down with a miraculous bolt of lightning as the HoHo's I've eaten will. Religion and Spirituality questions usually want rhetorical treatment, so that people don't have to question their Blind Faith in God. That's sweet, but the problem with Blind Faith in God is that it leads to harder drugs, like Blind Faith in Patriotism, Republicans, Nationalism, and Corporatism (A.K.A Fascism).
It is important to me to answer questions seriously. Most of the time.

GREAT! Now, not only are you a religious zealot, but you're wanting to take away one of our basic freedoms as well! I'd be willing to bet the farm that you're a fundamentalist Christian Republican!!! Leave it to the whackaloon Neo-Cons to screw up ANYTHING!!! And it's the zealots like you who drag us into this Yahoo Questions thing 99% of the time anyway!! But we don't look for validation that we're right, because unlike you, we just don't care! We spend our time thinking about ways to improve THIS LIFE, and NOT some other "mystery world" of the hereafter that nobody knows ANYTHING ABOUT!!! I just can't believe that we have to defend ourselves all the time, because you are SO SUPERIOR to us!!! And PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH, my Judeo-Christian friend--you're not changing any of OUR MINDS either!!!

I speak for myself...I care about others who are being duped by religion and anyway we can all have questions and opinions about religion & spirituality, can't you bear to have people here who think differently to you or something?
Religion is these days increasingly a political force and we all need to have our say and question whether religion is really a positive force for society or not...certainly religion does not hold the franchise on morality though it often falsely claims to...we're here so get used to it chums!

I am doing things I enjoy. I like messing with the religious. I rarely try to convert, but when I do, it is just to stop people from wasting their Sundays/lives. The thing is, I don't like having people trying to convert me, but the do, and this is my revenge. You say we won't convert anyone. Well you wont either, so stop crusading, and take your own advice. If it is getting too hard to defend your beliefs, give up, it usually means they are wrong.

No, simply understand that Aethism is a religion in its' own right. Furthermore realize that what you are saying is hypocritical. You want the right to state what you believe but those who don't can't? You sound like the third reich.

Yup. I really never even understood why people fight over their religions. What I hate is how when religious people try to prove your thoughts on the subject wrong, or force their religion on you. I personally don't believe in some book, but I'm not going to go tell people that they're stupid for what they believe. I can't tell them they're wrong, but they sure as hell better not try to tell me I'm wrong.

Maybe people like to debate. Ever thought of that? It doesn't make atheists bad to debate about religion with others. Sometimes it's nice to discuss religion and learn others' views on it.

But maybe we ENJOY answering inane questions. Maybe we really LIKE being told we're going to hell 14,000 times a day. Or maybe, we have valid points to make, we've made friends here, and like hearing about other points of view. Relax, dude. It doesn't have to be all awful. Really.

Isn't it ironic that so many fundamentalists spend so much time in Yahoo Answers spreading hate and discrimination against gays and others that they despise and dislike and ignore all and any form of reason or common sense and science?
