Yes, today's youths can deal with problems. Refer to Exodus 22:18 "You shall not permit a witch to live." They know who they are and they are going to use the Bible to justify what they have been told by the Bible to do.
Unless they are not totally stupid, then they will use more effective techniques to solve problems like: Can we use stem cells to prevent illnesses or restore normal bodily functioning?
The Bible just doesn't seem to work well on these REAL problems.

To the first person who answered, that was a very generalizing statement.
A lot of youths don't deal well with problems because they are never taught how. But there are a lot of teens who deal with problems, whatever they may be, in a very mature and reasonable fashion. As for referring to the bible...I don't quite understand what you mean be that.

well we are near the end of times and there will be a lot of temptations that would lead youth of today astray...

All these temptations will therefore be the downfall of many Christians but we have to be prepared...for He says

Matthew 24:42-51: "Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
49 And shall begin to smite his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

Luke 21:36: "Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man."

I hope youths today make the right decisions ....

Many of today's youth grow up having watched what happens when mommy and daddy fight and get divorced. They miss their parents and have a huge hole in the hearts.

Many kids also grow up in homes where mommy and daddy have no time for them. Both of them work and the kids are raised in the care of others who have less concern for raising them with strong Christian principles. They have no sense of identity.

Both groups are seeking love for their emotional scars... both are hungry for someone to love them... the need is great! There needs to be more adults willing to step in and help these kids. That is why suicide is now three times what it was twenty years ago. They live in despair. Won't you please pray for America's children? Won't you try to help?

I am not Catholic anymore... but there is a great private shelter that is helping kids nationwide... they helped me when I was a run-away. It's called Covenant House. And they have a phone number for those interested. 1-800-999-9999. www.covenanthouse.org

I think today's youth have no idea how to deal with problems since mommy and daddy have always done things like that for them.

i think today's youth is unfortunate. they live in a world where things like pornography, drugs, and alcohol are only a click or a few blocks away. thats why young Christians today struggle so much, and why 90% of young Christians leave the church and never come back after HS graduation.

Kekambas- Can you justify your statement? or was it a statement made purely out of emotion and bigotry?

Today's youth are unholy, rebellious, and lovers of themselves. Parents are at fault by not submitting to God and teaching their children about Him.
