Can anyone give me proof the Earth is young that is not found in the bible? I am looking for scientific evidence that the Earth is only a few thousand years old.

The Book of Enoch tell us with a lot details the real reason because the foold was needed. In the N.T there are a lot refereces about many books that are not in the Actual Canno at the Bible, the Book of enoch is one of them. MAy be the flood was because was a combination between 3 diferent genetic lines. One the sons of God with Human daughters of men (2) and after the Nephlim was the third race, produced by this combination(3) adn why not to think the Nephlim had relations with humans too creating a four race, Super interesting.

I've actually heard relegious people claim Dinosaurs are a huge conspiracy, and that scientists only claim to have find fossils in an effort to turn people away from God. Also, evolution is about adaptation and survival.... why can't that be part of Gods plan to help the human race survive?

Every time I ask a question in the religion and spirituality section, most answerers are genuine, and try to provide help, but a solid handful of answerers tell me that they take offense to my question, and how dare I ask it in this catergory, or how dare I blaspheme their particular beliefs. But I did not make them click on my question, nor do they have to respond, so what gives?

I havent always been the greatest husband in the world and after 17 yrs of marriage my wife got involved somehow with someone at work and thru me out of the picture all together. We are Christians and I can see in her face today that she knows deep pown that she is out of the will of God but continues to be deceived. I did not cheat on her. i just wasnt always there when I should have been. I love her very much and she wont even call me or comunicate with me. I have 2 kids with her whom I take to church every wednesday and sunday. She has stopped going to church all together and doesnt pray or read with the kids anymore. I am not giving up on her like she has givin up on me. I dont care if I have to fast and pray for 40 days in a row. i believe God can save her soul and deliver her from this garden of eden experience of being deceived that she is going thru. Any comments or advice for me? Thanks....Chris from Texas....or call 210-724-9853 with any council or prayer.

well, number 1 i can hardly understand wat you said, and number 2, im goin to heaven, and evidently, "some of us" arent. I will definitely pray for you, because i no this makes you mad, but if you dont believe in God, then youll regret it the day he comes back for us. Explain the Bible, if God isnt real, then why do we have a bible? And how in the world were we created if God wasnt real? Please explain that to me, because I just dont get it how Non-believers walk around in the world everyday and dont have second thoughts about God. Please, whoever you are, and who ever hears this, give me a chance because it hurts me too see the many people alive today that dont believe. I mean, you gotta have faith, our God is real. I know you think im a freak, but i dont care. I want everyone alive today to go to heaven, i wanna see every person lift their hands up too the Savior and say God, Forgive me! I wanna see people get saved, and pray, I just wish I could get everyone to give this man a chance. That day the Jesus was beaten to death, he was thinkin about you. He died for you, and all you have to show for it is nothin. you dont even believe in him! Just please, read the bible, pray that God will give you the strength to bacome a Believer.

OK, so I was a born and raised Roman Catholic but after I turned 12 or 13 I became an atheist and have been so ever since (for the last 15 years). Over the years I have briefly looked in to buddhism and now more recently I am trying to find out the basics, but it is sooooo much, so does anyone know the different types of buddhism and in a nutshell what each of them represents?

That we don't believe in an after life so threatening us with turn or burn and hell this and that is not gonna work with us, do you realize that or is your head in another world and not down in reality to realize our beliefs and that its pointless to tell us about what you think is gonna happen to us according to your myths that we dont believe in?
