How can it be ? Atheists are common, intelligent (perhaps more than the average) people. They most often bring intelligent, interesting and thought provoking points into discussion. Without them, clearly, this site will be terribly deficient. It is narrow mindedness that promotes atheists as 'bad' ! (incidentally, I do not identify myself as atheist. My 'religion' is nature and nature only, which encompasses everything in the Universe: atheists, all religions and all humans, all animals and all things in short)

No, they infest it.
However, they are banned from heaven, eternal life in God's company, eternal joy and peace in God's presence, and all the other really good stuff. Instead they will be weeping and screaming in hell as they are tormented eternally.
God is a gentleman and He will never force anyone to be with Him who does not want to be no matter how sad it makes Him that this is the case.
