The Book of Enoch tell us with a lot details the real reason because the foold was needed. In the N.T there are a lot refereces about many books that are not in the Actual Canno at the Bible, the Book of enoch is one of them. MAy be the flood was because was a combination between 3 diferent genetic lines. One the sons of God with Human daughters of men (2) and after the Nephlim was the third race, produced by this combination(3) adn why not to think the Nephlim had relations with humans too creating a four race, Super interesting.

Mankind had grown to new heights of evil preceding the flood. Certainly women knew they were copulating with something other than humans - and the debauchery was great on many levels.

The Book of Enoch was obviously quoted in accepted canonized books and should have been included. The reason (or part of the reason) why it was rejected is because Enoch described planets as orbs (round) and having orbital paths..., something that threatened the Flat Earth stigma.

At any rate the Bible mentions the Nephelim not because they were a good thing.., but an added evil so yeah, your observation is at least partly true. Only seven people in the entire earth had not been corrupted.. Actually it was just Noah, but there had to have been an assumption that his family had not been corrupted by that evil.

Our present day world is seeing evil that rivals that of Noah's day, with men experimenting and trying to create life from scratch. Already some scientists are working on completely artificial human DNA. They have also manipulated genes so that female mice can have babies without a male partner - something they hope to develop into human females so the need for males are zero.., a violation of the order God set out on this world.

Todays generation calls evil good and good evil. Being homosexual and immoral is considered normal and thus deemed as good - but having morals is considered to be stifling intelligence and trying to control others, hence deemed as bad.

The list goes on and on..., but evil has reached new heights and the world doesn't see it. I've heard many saying there is no evil in his world .., all things are good.

Jesus will be coming back soon. The sooner - the better! Unless God had not cut the days short, mankind will end in a global state of genocide (nuclear and bio-weapons, diseases from abuse of our own bodies, violence and injustice and more)

Jude 1:14
Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men: "See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones"

Book of Enoch
And behold! He cometh with ten thousands of His holy ones...

Book of Enoch is quoted in the NT. So, is only that single verse valid and the rest not? So why isn't it in the bible? Reason is because Enoch clearly states that "angels" copulated with humans. Enoch is interesting because it describes in great detail how he was taken up into a mother ship, etc. Genesis says "Enoch was no more because God took him"

*

Sun = Noah (the comforter)
Mercury = Lamech
Venus = Methuselah
Earth = ENOCH (lived 365 years!)
Mars = Jared
Jupiter = Mahaleel
Saturn = Kenan
Uranus = Enos
Neptune = Seth
Pluto = Adam

Why do I run the patriarches in reverse order? Because Noah is the Sun...

Book of Enoch
And after some days my son Methuselah took a wife for his son Lamech, and she became pregnant by him and bore a son. And his body was white as snow and red as the blooming of a rose, and the hair of his head and his long locks were white as wool, and his eyes beautiful. And when he opened his eyes, he lighted up the whole house like the sun, and the whole house was very bright.

Noah is the Comforter (the Sun). Enoch lived (((365))) years and he did not die (because god took him). Enoch is the Earth (humans).

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the bible has already clearly stated the reason God had for destroying the earth via one massive flood. He looked down upon man and saw that man's heart had grown terribly wicked and evil, such that there were no longer any holy men left. Noah and his family were the only people left in the entire planet that were still holy and loyal to God. They tried to save humanity, but were scoffed, mocked, and scorned. The sons of God were fallen angels, Demons, and they did lie with the daugthers of men, thus creating a new, lineage, i guess. These were most likely the giants spoke of throughout the old testament. But it was not because of a new lineage that God destroyed humanity, it was because humanity grew to such wicked proportions that God had no choice but to simply start over.

Genesis Chapter 6 answers this question directly, specifically Chapter 6 Vs 5, in the NIV Bible it has commentary below, to explain further.

Why is it that Biblical creationists have such a problem with evolutionary missing links, yet have no problem believing such nonsense as human/angel cross-breeding, even though not a single skeleton of such a creature has ever been found.

well, maybe this race of giants couldn't procreate... All I know is that before the flood, earth must have been a horrible place.

Quite impossible to understand, as are many things offered as "proof" of biblical happenings.

I am sincerely glad this interests you.
