First off, wasn't that Moon deity a Goddess??? Was the Angel Gabriel moonlighting (good pun, huh?) when he spoke to Mohammad?

A more substantial difference relates to the Islamic story of Jesus, who according to the Qur’an is a mortal, human prophet. The Islamic faith categorically rejects the idea that God was ever born, as opposed to Christian belief that Jesus was born the son of God. Islam also rejects the idea that God shared his divinity with any other being.
Another important idea elaborated in the Qur’an and later Islamic doctrine, in conscious distinction from the biblical accounts, is that although prophets are capable of human errors, God protects them from committing sins and also protects them from excruciating suffering or humiliating experiences. God would not abandon his prophets in times of distress. Therefore, the Qur’an maintains that God interfered to save Jesus from torture and death by lifting him to heaven and replacing him on the cross with someone who looked like him.

I don't care what religion you are-you have decided in this life to be someone that is lead by the order that you inherited from relations you chose to persure or were born into. Can we not forgive each other our differences without having to say only YOUR God is the forgiver. I expressed an opinion about Muslims a few days ago that I felt completely ashamed about because I Can not stand religions but when I received the reponses I did I saw my question more racist than anti-religious. It was a hateful thing to say and I want to apologize to those I offended-and I hope they can forgive me-because ultimately my point was to end what Iraq has deemed a religious war and The U.S. has stayed in EVEN THOUGH THE EVIDENCE used to create this war was never found. I feel WE are pushing Christian power into the region and must tell Christians that you are not offering the other cheek but demanding change in an area that has a considerably longer history in ethniticity than does any American!

It has been said that because we teach children in schools that the universe is a result of an accident that they are not accountable for their actions that they end up doing bad things. For example columbine. So my question is, is it because of evolution being taught that those kids became bad kids?

Did kids ever become bad kids before Charles Darwin was alive?

Is it only in a post evolution age that people are sinners?

I beleive in God. I do beleive in Jesus, too. However, I have many questions about the Bible, as it is inconsistent in many places and often is misleading and confusing. So, I do not read the bible much at all. But, I pray, and trust in God. God has answered nearly every prayer I have ever prayed, and he is with me all the time. I feel joy all around me. So, how am I going to hell because I don't agree with some points of the bible? That's what the die hard christians say. I feel a mystical/spiritual connection with God that I cannot explain. Why do you need the bible, or any book, for that matter, to validate your faith and your love of God?
