We live in an unideal world where ideal concepts aren't always applicable. If we don't breathe, we die. Isn't it a sin to kill yourself?
Your point about breathing destroying our health doesn't matter because aging and time is already constantly destroying our health.

Why don't you review your past questions, then ask yourself if they sound as if the person asking them is listing a little to starboard ? Are you actually suggesting that we should stop breathing ? Is it a sin ? Who cares.
The world has many problems. Use your brain intelligently to try to solve a few, not come up with stupid stuff.

Breathing is better for your health than not breathing at all. Therefore breathing is not a sin.

You know what I think....I think people are running out of questions to ask and now they're just reaching for anything to say.
Look at it this way.....if you stopped breathing you would be commiting suicide...then what? isn't that a sin? these questions could go around in circles forever!

We will eventually die one day. It is not a sin to die. Similarly, the food we eat contains chemical toxins, and we may die from it too, but it should never stop us from consuming food.
The pollution of the earth is a consequence of the fall of man.

i think that breathing is not a sin. it can become one as long as you have a choice to breathe a pure one, but decided not to choose, like smoking, for example. and if it is a sin, this is not our fault, but government.

Man has caused the problems in this world, and is destroying himself. To me "SIN" is breaking one or more of the ten commandments, doing something we know is wrong and doing it anyway.

It is usually easy to tell whether something is a sin. Sin is anything which separates us from living in closeness to God.
Best wishes and God bless.
