Every nation-state that has ever gone to war has claimed that divinity favoured them. If they have been victorious they have claimed that deity was with them. If they have lost, they have claimed that deity was punishing them.
Divinity doesn't care.

I really don't think Jesus is a political type. Yes politicians will invoke the name of God or anything else to get elected, and they count on the weakness of the voter that will not get informed about the real issues to vote them into office. The Jesus of the New Testament (is there a Jesus of the Old?), would support the U.S. Troops and any other troops, "For greater love hath no man, that he lay down his life for a friend". I don't think he supports the actions of some of the troops, but he is with each and everyone of them, it is wheather or not they choose to except his support that is their choosing. I know he supported me when I left to be in Operation Desert Storm and now that I am in the Middle East Supporting our troops, I feel his support is here again with me and these fine young men and women in uniform. As far as digging Predator Drones, I don't think that Jesus being God would have any interest in man's technology, since He is all knowing and all seeing anyway, why would he need a Predator Drone. Remember Sodom and Gamora! I also think that Jesus will show us the perfect government, once he comes back! GOD BLESS YOU

Yes. God has given the USA its power and might to spread freedom around the world. Freedom is essential to God's plan of happiness, and freedom of religion is essential for God's true word to spread around the world. Without the United States, its power, and its God inspired technologies, freedom in this world would be far more dim and hopeless. God bless the USA and God bless our troops.

i think that that is a VERY good question- and let me point out, you wrote "do you think"- so im going to tell you what I think, which may or may not be the REAL answer. umm... i think that there must be a lot of confusion on this question. its like when boys ask themselves, "what would Jesus do?" but Jesus wouldn't be in the backseat of his car with his girlfriend anyway. on one hand, i think that jesus would send troops to iraq. i honestly don't think that jesus has anything against justice. but on the other hand, what about turn the other cheek? this question in very thought provoking, and i see no clear answer- but it really made me think! way to go!

We are still the Nation Under God, he like that, but we are removing him from our nation and he is not happy with that at all, and if you look back in just the last 20 years you can see how we are going down..

Jesus died hundreds of years before America was known to Europe or Asia. I don't think he favored or disfavored anything about America. He never heard of the place.

I don't think so. The united states isn't Jewish (Well a large portion of NY is, but never mind that) and he would probably prefer his own people and culture over a predominantly Anglosaxan / Germanic one.

No because Jesus would be against war. After 9/11 he would be telling us to turn the other cheek and try to understand the enemy.

No, the US government is heathen. It forbids prayers in schools. Such a government cannot be supported by Jesus
