would extreme non-religion also be borderline insanity?

In some cases, it makes a lot of sense.

By the way, did you know that insanity isnt a medical term, but a legal term? No one is ever medically insane. They are legally insane.

Yes it is. They do not deal in the reality of what is going on today and the ones that believe that god would tell them to kill another human are a danger to us all.

I think anything in the extreme can be unhealthy and unwise in various aspects (mental, emotional, physical, etc).
