Evolution, as one of the methods that God used to create life, as we now know it, on Earth SHOULD be taught in church. NOT because it requires faith to believe in it, but because it reveals to us something about who God is and how God works. There is no part of the law of evolution that contradicts the scripture, or demeans God – quite the opposite.
At the same time, and as a Christian, let me say emphatically that “intelligent” design, or creationism by any name, should NOT under any circumstances be taught in public (or any other) schools.

It's not the church's job to teach evolution or any other non-religion related ideas. It's like asking why the church doesn't teach Algebra

That's pretty funny. You are, of course, correct. Since there is absolutely no scientific evidence that supports evolution, belief in it, is based on faith.
However, you haven't asked what religion faith in evolution belongs to. Read Ann Coulter's new book for an answer to that one:

But evolution totally contradicts the bible! At the very first chapters in Genesis, God tells us that he created Adam, and then Eve from Adam. This calls for no interpretation. I believe that God created humans and teaching otherwise, especially in the House of God, would be not be logical and would not honor him in any way. It would be like questioning his authority, credibility or power. He doesn't need to be questioned.

Stupid question! We are taught from the Bible in church. This is not a "classroom" where we're using a bunch of different sources. Our source is the Word of God, the Bible!

It isn't taught in church because it goes against everything the Bible teaches us about creation.

The theory and study of evolution is a science, therefore should be left to those educated in those areas to teach. Do you want schoolteachers to teach religion? I certainly don't.

If they can teach "Intelligent Design" is school, it seems only fair. Equal time and all that.
