They say that jesus was supposed to return 1000 thousand years after his death, it has now been just over 2000 thousand years and yet we are still waiting for judgment day to come and hit us. Is it really going to come and when and how will it come?. Will any one survive or is death the only way to live eternal happiness?.

due to heavy daily drinking I I was desperately weak and could hardly walk up to the toilet! I smelled of death as I lay in my room wanting and waiting to die... all the time. I was unmarried and without love. Would pray each night for death to come as a relief and it didnt. One night I saw Jesus saying.. come to me son I will set everything right.. I am not a Christian. My life started changing from that day onwards. Its two years from that day till now. I am happily married now and I have a child too!All this is thanks to that all powerful and incredibly kind and sweet God… Jesus. I have given up my older religion, Hinduism, which was impotent and vindictive! I am now healthy,. I do not drink and I exercise and am strong. My life has changed completely. He blessed me with health happiness and love and peace. Everything I tell you is the truth.. it all happened to me.I wish to share my testimony with millions of people, pls tell me how I can do this. Thanks!

When you see your sister off on a plane home, you pray she lands safely, but if the plane crashes, and she is hurt, you thank God she didn't die, but if she dies, you thank God she died quickly and say it all happens for a reason. Why bother praying for a safe plane trip to begin with? Que sera, sera, no? And whatever does happen, we thank God no matter what, even though we asked Him for a safe flight... I'm not doing a good job wording this question well, but hopefully the gist gets across.

I just asked the question why the Old and New Testaments in the KING JAMES VERSION were written in different styles of ENGLISH. I also asked if THE ENGLISH-LANGUAGE, KING JAMES VERSION, WRITTEN IN ENGLISH AND COMMISIONED BY THE KING OF ENGLAND WHOSE NAME WAS JAMES AND LIVED MORE THAN A THOUSAND YEARS AFTER JESUS was written IN ENGLISH all at once, both Testaments, that is.

I was not asking about the history of the HEBREW VERSION, WRITTEN THOUSANDS OF YEARS BFORE JESUS versus the GOSPELS WRITTEN IN GREEK OR ARAMEIC OR WHATEVER, WRITTEN AFTER THE DEATH OF JESUS.

Every answerer so far has not even UNDERSTOOD what I was asking, let alone given a coherent answer.

Is the question that hard? I thought I wrote it in ENGLISH. Let's try again.

Why is the Old Testament written in OLDE ENGLISH and the New Testament not written in Olde English? The operative word being ENGLISH.

Or maybe you aren't so sure, and you need to convince yourself? How absurd to waste your time on a topic that you reject?

All functional men experience lust. If Jesus didn't experience lust, something was wrong with him. A perfect man would function normally. Abnormal behavior is not being perfect and if Jeus never experience lust, that's abnormal behavior. Lust is not a bad thing. It is a natural thing that all normal men experience. If something is WRONG with a man, than maybe he may not experience lust. If Jesus did experience lust, he probably was gay or he committed fornication which means he had sex without being married. If he did get married and have kids, he probably wasn't a father that was there for his kids because it never mentioned anywhere in the bible that he took care of kids. If he didn't get married or wasn't gay, maybe he jacked off A LOT. So, it looks like Your almighty "Jesus" had lots of flaws

Christians, Athiests, Jews, Muslims........What ever happened to judging individuals based on who they are rather than lumping everyone into a category? Not all Christians preach, not all Athiests hate everything, not all Muslims kill in the name of religion! Why do people feel the need to judge an entire group based on the actions of few?

Or was it the planets aligning just so? Or was it the Wiccan spell of protection that you cast? Or was it Zeus or Odin looking over your shoulder? Or maybe you reached a level of Zen enlightenment? Or... was it... coincidence?
All the belief systems out there look the same objectively... How do you know for sure? How is it ever more than a choice that could have been made by the roll of a die? There is no final, definitive concrete evidence for any religion or spiritual philosophy. But the thing is I still have this nagging feeling I will be going to hell because I didn't choose to accept Jesus Christ as my saviour.. but my brain says: this doesn't make any objective sense....What do you think?
Intelligent answers only, please!! Don't bother answering if you can't use English grammar correctly or if you can't answer without YELLING LIKE THIS.
Sorry to be a prick, but those things are insanely irritating.

Here is mine:

2 Samuel 22:17-20 He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters, he rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me, They confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the Lord was my support, He brought me out into a spacious place, he rescued me because he delighted in me.

Why is it that the Old Testament is written in Old English and is so hard to understand, and the New Testament is so much easier? Weren't they both written at the same time? In the English-language King James Version, that is.

Then the next day go to explain to each other what we learned.

And we both could of wrote a differant book ourself.

I mean hours of studing one Chapter, look up every referrance, and looking at every word no matter how small it was.

Any one else done this before?

Have you ever just gave up ? then go a day or two later and re read that chapter and get a whole differant message then the first time, or you can add even more to what you go the first time?

Christians believe that they are saved because Jesus paid the penalty for the sins of the world. Jesus was betrayed, put on trial, mocked, tortured, and executed within a day's time. Then he rose to life three days later and soon after ascended to Heaven. However, the penalty for sin is eternity in Hell. Simple logic suggests that this means that either Jesus did not pay the penalty for anyone's sin, or that the only fair penalty for sin is a similar death followed by resurrection and eternal life in Heaven and not the fire and brimstone God threatens us with.

An internet alias seems to make some brain-dead addicts feel free to display their lack of intelligence and their pride of belonging to the class of mental slaves and gullible suckers.
The inability to think is certainly not a human asset nor is the haste to display one's naivete a sign of intelligence.
The Bible encourages the human gift of being able to reason in the Gospel of Mark 12:28-34, yet the freaks blindly rush in where Angels fear to tread.
