I had this one on my mirror when I was in college.
James 2:21
But be ye doers of the wordd and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the wor and not a does, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror. for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was, But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

Psalm 91
1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. [a]
2 I will say [b] of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust."
3 Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare
and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
5 You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 If you make the Most High your dwelling—
even the LORD, who is my refuge-
10 then no harm will befall you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread upon the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
14 "Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him
and show him my salvation."

John 3:16 and this is why even though I had been in different churches it didn't become real to me till 1991 I had so much bad things happen to me that I couldn't fathom being good enough that almighty God could love someone like me. I thought I was the most unworthy person there is see I had tried all the world had to offer sex drugs alcohol u name it all really looking for love and acceptance. God reached down with His mighty hand and pulled me up. I love Him and owe all to Him.

Normally I quote something from Lev, but tonight I'll do Number instead:
Num 31:17-18 Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.

2nd Timothy 3:16,17
16) all scripture is given by the inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17) That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
which means every word written from the beginning to the end, from alpha and omega, yesterday, today and forever comes from God himself. The bible is not just written by some man.

Proverbs 3:19
By wisdom the Lord laid the earth's foundations, by understanding he put the heavens in place; by his knowlege the deeps were divided and the clouds let drop the dew.
