I have a testimony of President Hinkley. I know that he is a living prophet. I know that he speaks with our Father in Heaven and receives guidance from Him and Jesus Christ as well. I know that The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints is the ture church on earth today. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet, I know the Book Of Mormon is the word of God. I bear witness to these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior, Amen.

CEO is not an appropriate title. Yes, President Hinkley is a Prophet of God. I know that may be hard to comprehend, but if you want to genuinely know more about the LDS Church, go to to source below or ask any LDS Missionary you may meet.

Yes, he is a true living prophet. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He has always called prophets to teach and lead his people, from Adam, to Moses, to Elijah, to Peter, to Joseph Smith, to Gordon B. Hinckley.
Those who say there is no need for current day Prophets are mistaken. Because God cares for us as much today as he did for his children in ancient time. Moses was sent to help his people overcome the hardship of their day. We have hardships in our day that are unique to our time. So the fact that God follows his same pattern for guiding his children in our day just makes sense.
How to identify a false prophet, "By their fruits, ye shall know them." President Hinckley is one of the most kind, sweet, gentle, humble, funny, amazing people I've ever met. And I feel the spirit so strongly within me when he speaks. To me, that is answer enough to know he is a prophet.

Well I'm sure there are those who believe he is, but the LDS group is cult, thus he is a false prophet. This is not to say people who follow the Book of Mormon are bad people. However, there is no connection between them and Christianity.

that is gloomy that his mild has finally lengthy gone out, even if that is a few thing i have been waiting for for awhile. He became ninety seven years old, and yet, it variety of feels too quickly for him to be lengthy gone. even even if we are able to omit his variety warm temperature and ever effective loving personality, his actual celebration of Christ-like love, we shouldn't mourn him. we'd want to continuously celebrate that we had him for see you later because the Lord loaned him to us, and we'd want to continuously praise his memory. we'd want to continuously be happy that he's now at relax jointly with his loved ones, and persevering jointly with his ministry to those on the different facet of the veil. i love President Hinckley, even if the Lord is conscious that the time is such that He needs President Hinckley to do His paintings elsewhere. we've variety loving and functional adult males who realized at his facet what's envisioned, and could carry us ahead contained in the arriving years. And so, I say now what i'm hoping some thing else of you'll say: "God bless you, Gordon B. Hinckley, and practice an section for me."

Define Prophet ---

Their definition is the one God talks to on earth

My definition is someone that God sought out

I think all prophets were telling of the arrival of Christ
and after his arrival and sacrifice,
that any further prophets were useless
If the people refused Christ, what more could be offered and why

Basically everyone believes what they want to believe
and it may all be wrong
So - more power to them if they are happy

Does he teach anything that runs counter to the Scriptures contained in the Bible? If so, then he is a false prophet by the definitions contained in the Bible.

Sorry, not buying it. If he was a 'prophet' Mark Hoffman wouldn't have taken him and the church for a ride.
