If there is no God, then how long has the universe been in existence. It can't simply be answered with "forever". If so, when did forever start? Who or what created the universe. Was it what we consider God? How long has God been in existence? What created God? Just saying "forever" doesn't lead to anythig.

A look at some of the changes to the Mass approved by U.S. Catholic bishops Thursday (6/15/06).

• The exchanges between priest and parishioners that now go "The Lord be with you" / "And also with you" would become "The Lord be with you" / "And with your spirit."

• The Act of Penitence, in which parishioners now confess aloud that they have sinned "through my own fault" would include the lines "through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault."

• In the Nicene Creed, the opening words "We believe" would become "I believe."

• Early in the Eucharistic Prayer, "Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might" would become "Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God of hosts."

• Before Communion, the prayer "Lord, I am not worthy to receive you" would become "Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof."

We had a cat run away and disappear. Appx. 2 years later my middle daughter woke me up about 3:00 a.m. saying there was a cat in her room. It was a little orange cat. We put the cat outside, went back to bed and when we awoke it was still meowing at our front door. We asked around and then Animal Control came and picked up the cat. About 8 months later the same cat came back meowing at our front door. We totally freaked out. Animal control said she had been adopted by a family on the West side. I am on the east. Well they came and got the cat again. That was about a year ago. That damn cat just came back today!!!!

We are totally freaked out by all of this and don't know what to make of it. We have decided to adopt her, the current family agrees with it. If she would go through all that trouble to get here this must be where she belongs. I am sure she will be a great addition to the family and my daughters are thrilled, but what in the heck do you make of this? Please help.

In every language everlasting means forever am I right? Jesus/Yashu'a said I did not come to destroy the law,or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill Matthew 5:17.

so many people complain that Christians are always trying to convert people to what they believe is true. The question, however, is, is that what we are supposed to do or something that was just influenced by radical beliefs of a person in the past. I am Catholic/Christian but never have purposely tried to CONVERT anyone. I have spread my views and expressed my beliefs when the moments arise.

Now, the question, are we supposed to convert non-believers to our beliefs or just spread the word and those who wish to listen will listen? From what I know and have read, even Jesus just spread the word of God but never expected people to convert just because he expressed His views. He never showed direct proof that he was the son of God but instead quoted the Bible and the will of God.

Like I don't get it. God made you in his image and so if you hate god doesn't it mean you hate yourself? And another thing you shouldn't be mean or say rude things to him anyway, without him you wouldn't be here anyways so what I'm asking is either do you agree? And if you don't why?

The reason for the New Testement to be followed is because Jesus died on the cross for us so we can be forgiven of our sins through asking God and not sacrificing animals or whatever after we have been bapitized.
