One of the main promises is found in Genesis, chapter 49, verse 25. It is where Jacob tells his son Joseph that God will give him the "blessings of the deep that lie beneath."

A little known geological surveys conclude that there is most likely vast natural oil reservoirs in Israel. But you did not hear that from me.

You need to read Genesis more thoroughly. Joseph was one of 12 sons of Israel (Jacob's new name remember?) Each of them was to become a nation. Just before Israel's death he legally adopted Joseph's two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, and said, "let my name be named upon them". They are to be known as Israel. Now notice it was NOT Judah. He's the forefather of the Jews. The brother of Joseph. The uncle of Ephraim and Manasseh. So, if Judah is the Jews, and theirs is the modern nation that uses the name Israel, the question is, "Where is Biblical Israel"? i.e. Ephraim and Manasseh? Well before Nebuchadnezzar captured Jerusalem (Judah) and carried them away as slaves, Assyria ( modern name: Germany) had done that to the remaining tribes. They carried them as slaves, through the centuries into Europe. The younger (Ephraim: England) had the greater blessing and the elder (the U.S.) was to be a single great nation. each was to posses the (sea)gates of their enemies.

Well, since Israel only became a country in the 1950's my guess is that it was not included in the Bible.

Only if they continue to steal Arab lands.

Nazi Germany called it "lebensraum" so they could take the land resources of countries around them for their own benefit. The Israelis are doing the same to the Palestinians today, stealing water and farmland.

Not in any version I'm aware of. So what, blessings of the deep could be precious gems, metals, minerals or a number of other things.
