While We Mormons don't believe Muhammad was a prophet, personally I have read the Koran and have seen a great deal of truths and hold Muhammad as a great teacher. There has been prophets since Muhammad it started with Joseph Smith Jr.

Well what you said is not quite true! Many people have claimed to be a prophet after Muhammad in different parts of the world. However, they have been systematically killed or imprisoned and have not had a chance to express their ideas. Although there is one famous exception and that's the founder of Mormons who claimed to be the last prophet and claimed he had a new book from God. Therefore your claim is not true.

Even if a prophet did come, no one would believe. Christians are totally insular, most other people are cynical, and Muslims know Muhammad was the final prophet.
Was Jesus a prophet? No, he was a sacrifice for mankinds' sins.

there has been a prophet since . . in fact, several! and I am so glad! i mean, i am glad for the prophets a long time ago, too. but i am living today, not then. moses told the people (among other things to leave Egypt. Noah told the people to repent before a flood came (they didn't). but what about now? aren't there plenty of problems in the world now? don't we need help from God now? doesn't God care about us now the way he cared for people a long time ago? and if so, wouldn't he send a prophet to help us know the things we need? He has!! if you're interested, check out Mormon.org and look on there for more info on prophets. it's really cool.

Muhammad was not a prophet of Yahweh. Muhammad is a prophet of lucifer who appeared in the form of the moon god allah.
No man that did what Muhammad did with little girls is a prophet of any god except lucifer. There are still prophets of God Yahweh and they are doing their jobs even today. Muhammad couldn't even write or read, what kind of prophet is that. All of this validates that he is prophet of the moon god.. allah..

Joseph Smith is considered a prophet by Mormons, and Baha'ullah, who founded the Baha'i faith, is a considered a prophet by the Baha'i. (Both men lived during the 19th century.) These beliefs, though, neither validate nor invalidate the Muslim belief that Muhammad is the Prophet.

I think Muhammad may have been a good boxer, but no prophet.

It is clear you are trying to prove a point with your question rather than be informed.
Can I play your game too? Here goes....
How do followers of islam choose which version of the quran to go by?
Isn't there only one original quran that does not censor murder, hatred of infidels, and the end all prize of 62 virgins upon arrival in heaven?

Peter stated that Jesus replaced into "raised up", merely as Moses stated would ensue. in accordance on your superficial and trivial strategies that Moses and Muhammad are alike, Obama is likewise a prophet like Moses. He has mothers and fathers, little ones and leads a rustic. Oh wait, he hasn't died of previous age. How about President Reagan? He lived a longevity, did an excellent interest of most excellent a rustic, replaced into born of human beings and had little ones. do not you spot the way you mock God's prophets? Jesus and Moses: both had stepfathers both had Kings that wanted to kill them as little ones. both were kept from those kings both were in diverse international locations at the same time as God let their households understand it replaced into secure to bypass domicile. both were realized adult men. undesirable Muhammad replaced into illiterate. both were rejected by ability of Israelites in the previous being embraced by ability of them both kept a rustic. both had a personal, ongoing courting with God and Muhammad did not. both complete miracles and Muhamad did not(the Quran confirms this, putting forward Muhammad replaced into no longer some thing yet a messenger). And to say Jesus replaced into no longer a pacesetter is merely asinine on your area. In His 3 years of ministry, He had thousands of followers. After 10 years or so in Mecca, Muhammad had decrease than one hundred followers in the previous he replaced into ran out of city. It wasn't until eventually Muhammad grew to develop into violent that he scared himself a following, lol.
