We had a cat run away and disappear. Appx. 2 years later my middle daughter woke me up about 3:00 a.m. saying there was a cat in her room. It was a little orange cat. We put the cat outside, went back to bed and when we awoke it was still meowing at our front door. We asked around and then Animal Control came and picked up the cat. About 8 months later the same cat came back meowing at our front door. We totally freaked out. Animal control said she had been adopted by a family on the West side. I am on the east. Well they came and got the cat again. That was about a year ago. That damn cat just came back today!!!!

We are totally freaked out by all of this and don't know what to make of it. We have decided to adopt her, the current family agrees with it. If she would go through all that trouble to get here this must be where she belongs. I am sure she will be a great addition to the family and my daughters are thrilled, but what in the heck do you make of this? Please help.

I think it's a fantastic story and makes a beautiful addition to your family. maybe it will bring something into your lives in the future, or maybe you needed to become connected to the cats original owners. perhaps you could call them in a year or two and let them know the cat is going well.

Your cat has for sure been very spooked by ability of a few thing and being particular needs he continues to be very traumatised a fortnight later. Did all people come into your domicile who would damage or frighten him ? Or did some thing ensue outside, like a noisy bang ? provide him time to quiet down again.Declawing him will be very merciless, believe me you would finally end up with a lot worse complications. ok a scratch isn't effective yet as somebody else already stated, a chew is way worse ! i'd recommend a verify up on the vets although the shape would freak him out even better. i imagine i'd provide him time, do not p.c.. him up or let the youngsters play with him, provide him some area and spot how he is going. I do agree that inspite of the actual undeniable truth that it will be undesirable to take him again to the seem after, better appropriate that than declawing him as a minimum of with claws he has probability of yet another domicile.

The answer you are looking for is unknown. I have taken a two day class in animal communication and learned many interesting bits of knowledge if you can except them. People do not reincarnate into animals except in very rare cases. Animals that have been with people in previous lives can reincarnate and possibly this cat has been with you many life times. It certainly seems that this cat is supposed to be with you for one reason or another so why fight it. Animals do come into our lives for many reasons. They come to comfort and take on the bad energy. This can cause animals to be sick and even die. So remember to keep a loving environment. There is more to life than meets the eye. Jesus says to fear not. So why should you fear a cat. He is not there to harm you, only to offer Love and balance your energy so you don't become ill, even though cats often seem like takers rather than givers. Hope this helps. Rev. TomCat

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised. Cat's are obstinate beings very often - and maybe someone in you house has been wishing her back (calling her in a sense) or maybe she is just so glad to have found you again.

I have an awesome animal communicator who could tell you for sure - and for a reasonable price. If you want her info, please email me.

Peace!

What a delightful story to pass down for generations to come. It is a good thing your family decided to adopt this cat, he apparently has chosen to adopt you. Enjoy!

That cat is bad news... I would call the exorcist and make him deal with this... If hte cat is still alive after he's through with it, adopt it, and let it do whatever it wants, or you'll pay the price. Dearly.

I don't think it's a reincarnation, but I do think cats are just strange, and have their own reasons for the random things they do.

Maybe the owners of the house before you had that cat and so it is returning to what was previously its home.

I think it's best for you to kill the cat yourselves. This way, you can verify the death, and ensure your family's safety.

If this doesn't work, who ya gonna call? Ghostbusters!!!
