Ah, well, the origins of Spanish is Latin. The name Jesus...which did not originally have a "J"...just a corresponding "Y" ...would be the way it would have been said......yes-u-ah...rather than the pronounciation in Spanish..hey-sus.

Jesus is pronounced Hey' Zoose in Spanish, but the Hebrew name is not Jesus. Actually it is Yehoshua or Yeshua.

"Jesus" pronounced "Heh -soos" in spanish.
Umm, that's a translation of Jesus's Hebrew name, Yeshua.
From what I know, it's a name derived from Yohoshua (hebrew), or Joshua(english).
