This is the nineteenth question of DOOM!!!

19. Do youthink that it is possible that all of Jesus's miracles were fabricatins, axaggerations, or metaphoric representations treated like literal fact by people that hoped to raise the bar so high noone else would ever possibly be able to meet it?

If this is the case, then from that point forth, anyone claiming to be a Child, Messenger, or Servant of GOD (particularly this messiah spoken of in the Old Testament) would have to do feats of equal or better fanciness in order to win our trust. They say Jesus was perfect (but they never took the time to set the parameters for this perfection), which means anyone claiming to be this messiah would also have to be perfect.

It's actually quite easy to claim to be the Messiah. All you have to do is be smart, help people, condemn evil, and be carismatic. Do you think it is possible that these things were fabricated to keep people from trying to claim to be the Messiah?

Does it matter to them that I used to be a born again Christian, until driven away for my believe in evolution,

Does it matter to them that I have a good paying job,

Does it matter that I read books about the Bible and the Qu'ran,

Does it matter to them that I have a Bachelor's degree,

Does it matter to them that I voted for George Bush once, (wasn't fooled twice),

Why does the theist only read the word atheist, and assume such things as I wouldn't care about human autrocities,
that I wouldn't stop a gang from dumping gasoline on another woman,
that I wouldn't stop a band of thugs from stoneing a woman,

why do they read atheist and assume I have no feelings,
why do they assume I am not worthy of being human,

when did the theist get such a stereotype of an atheist as these on yahoo answers today,

Isn't it logical for me to assume that an atheist could advise the President on the same policy decisions?

Couldn't every decision he has made be defended by an atheist?

I beg you read details please, this question is too good for you to deny yourself the fullness of it.

Considering heaven for me, would be my utter hell in those circumstances?
Or would I go to hell, having not accepted christ on my deathbed, where I would be able to eternally experience my masochistic tendancies, therefore making it my heaven?

Also for arguments sake, let's say I'm SO masochistic that all of hells torments would be enjoyable to me, whereas living in eternal rapture and joy would drive me insane.

This is a PHILOSOPHICAL QUESTION, intended for me to expand my knowledge and understanding, NOT to ridicule anyone's beliefs.
Please, no biblical quotes, JUST self-made opinions are what I'm after, thanks.

If it's foolish for me to believe in God on the basis that I can't see Him, then wouldn't it be foolish for me to believe that things like light and the wind are real? You can't see them either. But just as you can see the effects of light (a room being illuminated) and wind (you can see it moving through the trees and feel it on your face) you can also feel and see the effects of God moving and working. Not to mention the creation itself such as the wind and the stars and you and me. We are all a product of a very real and living God and Creator.

Im not asking this in a hateful way, Im serious. I've met a lot of Muslims and though some are very nice, they dont seem to have a sense of humor, except maybe for some black Muslims (Nation of Islam) but I know that's a different sect.

Hitler was the most disgraceful human being ever born...but is he really to blame for his lack of sound moral judgement? Okay think about this: Let's say on some chance occasion, Hitler's parents died in a car wreck after he was born, and then he was raised by a Polish family who taught him right from wrong, and he never ended up the dictator he was destined to be. Are you saying whether a man goes to Hell or Heaven depends on chance occasion? That these "chance occasions" that could very well save our souls - only happen out of luck? I understand we have a choice to live our lives honorably and do good, but what about the misintepretations along the way? Sometimes people just can't live a decent life if they haven't been given the opportunity. So would we have done any different if we grew up under the exact same circumstances that Hilter had? Can you be destined to Hell before you're even born?

12:3
And there appeared another wonder in heaven: and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads, and ten horns, and seven crows upon his heads.

Notes= Is this what you get out of it?
Their was a war in heaven = wonder in heaven
great red dragon = satan the devil
having 7 heads = seven deadly sins
having 10 horns - 10 commandmant of Jesus Christ
havning seven crowns upon his heads = the 7 churches in Revelation 1?

Is this corrected, and if not will you explain why? or how?

If a woman is raped and does not produce four male witnesses she is stoned as an adulteror.

Why should I, Sean, an atheist, care if this is Islamic law in another country.

What difference could it make to me, an American. What obligation do I have to share what truth I know.

I just don't get how a church can say that a person is hated or not accepted by god because they are gay. God made out of love with love and it even states in the Bible that we are his children and he loves us no mater what. He may not approve of our choices, but he still loves us.....right???
