A recent survey shows that 40 percent of British Muslims want Islamic Sharia law in the United Kingdom. Sharia imposes punishments such as amputations and stonings. And in a separate poll, nearly one third of Muslims (32 percent) agreed with the statement that "Western society is decadent and immoral, and that Muslims should seek to bring it to an end."
The Dutch Parliament has tried to strike a blow against radical Islam by voting to ban the burqa and veils. But that exposes unveiled women to being raped by Muslim men as punishment. There is reported to be a growing rape epidemic of unveiled women in Europe.
t is a similar story all over Europe. Muslims demonstrate and chant: "Khlabar, Khalbar, O Jew, the Army of Mohammed is coming for you."
And Europe's problem with radical Muslims is our problem too, because they cry, "Nuke, nuke U.S.A. In your blood, in your blood...”
They say that many moderates are changing to radical..
What do you think?? Is this happening Muslims??

No, I'm not talking about the one's that aren't married. But the ones that are...I am a young Christian woman and I love pleasing my husband. Is that taboo for Christian women to say out loud? Do most married Christian women enjoy making love to their husbands?

Such as a Catholic priest wearing a collar and robes or a nun wearing a habit or a Jew wearing a yamaka or a Muslim wearing head scarves and, well, I could go on and on.Why is that? Can God not see us worshipping him without costumes? Can clergy not minister their flock without dressing up in costumes?Does the cloth give special powers to the wearer?Does God only see us if we wear special clothes?

This is a very serious question. Mature responses only.

And also I was wondering about the 2nd commandment in the Protestant version, which states :

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

Does this commandment against images/idols apply to images of Jesus, The Virgin Mary etc.?

I served a mission for the Mormon (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) I found that many who call themselves Christian treated me with absolute rudeness and hate. Why? I believe in Christ and I love God. What is the problem. Please be respectful.

Many on this thread ask if God exists. Let's turn the tables.

Do YOU exist? If so, prove it. ...And no babble (oops) Bible verses are allowed as proof.

Let the games begin!

Simply because I interpret Islam differently. He has attacked me in every question I ask. He sets up separate account to make it look like I am apeing him. And then tries to get me reported by everyone by making false accusations.

I have done nothing except been peaceful on yahoo answers because Zaidi is peace and this hateful Sunni has hounded me.

Given the wars that are raging all over Planet Earth-currently incited or at the very least inspired by religious conviction, can we observe a human being who is obsessed with the idea of a Creator who is "on their side" and not see mental illness- delusional behavior? If you changed the name of Allah or Jesus to
Meepthor of Tralfamador and then watched the same behaviors taking place; killing one another in the name of Meepthor, would we recognize this very dangerous behavior and would we do anything about it?

God acquits us from the Courtroom of Eternal Justice on the grounds that Jesus Christ paid our fine. We are "justified" (made right with God) by His suffering death. The resurrection of Jesus Christ was God's seal of approval of the fact that His precious blood was sufficient to pay the fine.
Think of it this way... You have violated the law and face a $50,000 fine. You tell the judge that you are truly sorry for your crime, but he answers, "So you should be -- you have broken the law! Now, can you pay this fine?" He can only acquit you if the fine is paid. If someone else pays your fine, then he can let you go, but he must have "grounds" on which to release you.

The reason we need a substitute (a savior) to pay our moral "fine," is because we have broken God's Law. To see how much we have transgressed this Law (the Ten Commandments), we will go through some of them -- Have you ever told a lie? Have you ever stolen something? Have you ever lusted after another person? If you answ

Quran 2:223 “Your wives are a tilth for you, SO GO INTO YOUR TILTH WHEN YOU LIKE ...” http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/002.qmt.html

If Allah didnt mean to give men to have the right to have sex with woman "when they like" why did Allah say it? Allah could have qualified it also.

He could have said "Your wives are as tilthe unto, so go into your tilthe when you like unless the signs are not there, for allah does not like a rapist".

Ok, suppose Allah really believes woman should not have a choice...shouldnt he at least have given a health exception?

He could have wrote "Your wives are as tilthe unto, so go into your tilthe when you like unless she is gravely ill, Allah forbids you to get sickness from your properties"
