I feel stupid for asking this, but what is the difference between being "Pagan" and being "Wiccan"? Can you be one and not the other? Also... can you please help me out w/ terms such as ecclectic, solitary, etc.... terms used in the Pagan/Wiccan community?

so, i've been soul searching really, and i've looked into all kinds of religions. i've reached a point where i really just need to sit down with someone and work this all out but i don't know who to go to. . .a catholic priest will tell me that cathlochism is the right thing, a rabbi will tell judaesm is right. i don't want that what do i do?

also if you are here and you decide that i need to be lectured on how there is only one god and i can only receive salvation through jesus christ, save it for someone else i've heard that crap way too many times and i am not in the mood for it. thanks

I had a dream within a dream, my dead grandmother was warning me about something, she said something in the dream that i said after she has passed "it is going to be weird now" In my dream she was trying to tell me something as a warning, when i woke up i cant remember what she was trying to tell me.. I was crying in my dream and I woke up crying. Could someone please help me out. I know that when someone dies they can contact you in your dreams, i just hope i can remember what she was trying to tell me.

there were a lot of people who contributed to the stories of the bible. there was a vote on which stories made it and which ones didn't. how can one be sure that we got the right ones or which ones may have been left out either on purpose or through the many translations over the many years. i just think it would have been easier if we were born with the truth and didn't have to rely on man because lord knows we ain"t perfect. you can tell one person something to pass along and by the time it gets back to you things are changed or added(human nature).just curious

Do we all know what "True Happiness" is? How do You define it? Where is it for you - in a Place, a Person, a Thing or in the Spiritual arena? How long did it take you to realize you had it -- till it was too late? Do you still have it or is it gone for you?

God's Ten Commandments are like a mirror. You can look at it to examine the state of your soul. Take a look, and see how you look. Have you told a lie? Stolen anything? used God's name in vain? it's appointed unto man once to die, then judgment. One day you will die, then God will judge you by His Moral Law. If your guilty of breaking His Commandments, then you have a debt that you cannot pay, and you will be sent to Hell. The thing is that God doesn't want you to end up in Hell. That's why He provided a way for you to be Saved. Jesus came to die on a cross to pay the debt for your sins and take your punishment. If you Repent, which means to ask forgiveness and turn away from your sins, then put your complete Trust in Jesus Christ. Only then you will be accepted into Heaven, not because your a good person, but because your a bad person who's been forgiven.

If a person family backround is "Jewish" that person is considered part of the Jewish Nationality and Religion. Why is this religion able to brand those as "Jewish" who do not come from Israel, and have no recent family religion ties to Judiasm.

I realize it poses a theory not popular to Catholics and it makes some negative statements about the church throughout history, but it is a fictional movie. So what's the big deal??

1.Women should learn in silence and subjugation.

9.Man was created in the image and glory of God, and Woman was created in the glory of Man, thus Man must have power over her.

13.If a woman had her period and touches a chair or a bed or anything else then that item immediately becomes unclean. Anyone who then touches those things shall also become unclean. They must then bathe themselves and wash their clothes because they have touched an item that a menstruous woman has touched.

Why do they seem to complain alot. They are the most popular religion the world. Christianity is the world's most popular religion, with approximately 2.1 billion followers. This includes just over a billion Catholics, about 350 million Protestants, and the Orthodox and Anglican faiths. They have most of the power because most world leaders are christian. Their holidays are NATIONAL and world hoildays. Many laws are based off a Judo-Christian theme. Yet they seem to complain that everyone is bashing them. That everyone is against them. When they seem to have all the power.
Oh and they all seem to quote the bible when asked questions. Any true OPINION answers that don't include a stock answer from the bible.
