I would love to believe in God, Heaven, Jesus, etc. but recently my faith has been questioned as my girlfriend has had brain surgery and my Grandpa is close to death after a long, painful bout with cancer. Both of them were lifelong devout christians. Why should I believe in a God who does this to his "flock". And please, none of that "it's part of his grand plan" crap. Creating a world with terrorism, poverty, AIDS, and moral corruptness does not seem to be part of a master plan to me.

I always put Jesus Loves and Adores at the end of my about me thing in my account, and at the end of most of my questions, answers, comments, etc. So what do you guys think of it? I know some of you are thinking I'm crazy but if your a fellow christian that thinks that I feel shame for you a great SHAME, but if your not a christian and think that I'm not surprised. Well all I have to say now is Jesus Loves and Adores.

For anyone familiar with chaos magick I would like to know your tried and true techniques. This should be a good question since there is so much left open to interpretation in chaos magick and there is no one tradition.

Jesus died for us...he gave us life.
How much of a believer are you?

In a crowd of people, if you were asked, do you believe in Jesus Christ, how would you respond?

If you were with a group of non-believers--would you promote God's love to them?

If you were told today, that you would die because you were a believer of Jesus Christ--would you die for him?...or would you walk away silently..ignoring your faith?

If he does, are the rest of us allowed to be nice to them?

Can we throw rocks at them?

Are we allowed, in heaven that is, to smoke pot with them?

if you worship Jesus as God . the greatest commandement is to worship God with all your heart mind and soul. And if you can not point to where Jesus said "I am God, worship me" then do not claim he is God.

...christians and/or christianty.Do you hate the christian doctrine/ideals, the people who sincerely try and practice those ideals, the people who try and shove those ideals down your throat, the hypocrites who profess those ideals, or all of the above? Shalom to all respondants, even those who hate me for asking a question which has the word 'christian' in it... didn't mean to burn any ears with the 'c' word but I'm curious at where the animosity is aimed.

Bobby says God only hears about sins based on commonly used terms. He also says if a girl "leaks my bells", God will be none the wiser.

Am I going to heaven?

“Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of Creation), before We clove them asunder? And We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe”? (21:30 Qura’n).

It seems more believable to me that Jesus was simply a charismatic leader whose stories were continually exaggerated until the point of seeming god-like. Eventually, out of these stories grew an entire mythology to give people a way to explain the unexplainable and to try and convince people that they are accountable for their actions. Doesn't this seem like a more likely explanation then the son of god was on earth and then disappeared along with any evidence of the existence of god? Note: I do actually believe in god (in some form) because there is no real explanation for why there is something vs. nothing, but the whole literal mythologies (ie. the Bible, the Koran, etc.) around religion seem completely fabricated and intended more to teach moral lessons and philosophies then describe actual events. This same logic can be applied to the formation of basically any religion.

The Easter Bunny wants to give us the gift of his magic candy every Easter. He hops all around the world in a single day to spread happiness to everyone. Why don't people accept his gift? Why don't they love him back?
