If it is in the Christian religion to be loving then why aren't they? ~or~ If it is in the Wiccan religion to harm none then why do they? ~or~ etc. & etc. The point is you CAN call any faith into question based on the actions of a few. Muslims will say otherwise, because it says that Allah does not condone violence, etc.

They neglect the fact that it says Allah does not condone violence against RIGHTEOUS men. That leaves it up to discussion who is righteous and who is not. It's pretty clear that anyone who is not a muslim, is not righteous, in their eyes.

Therefore, they can, and do, view anyone other than a muslim as lower than dirt. And that's why you see their extremists blowing things up. It's all right there in black and white. The politicians are just trying to quell the masses right now by saying they're peaceful.

Islam promotes justified violence, not unjustified violence. Some condemn Islam as a violent religion altogther, yet they forget what is written in their own books.

In the Old Testament, Joshua and other Prophets goto war and commit what modern-day critics would call 'atrocities'. According to the Old Testament, God commanded them to slay women and children and sleep with young girls.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of God be upon him) was a mercy for mankind who commanded war to get rid of injustice, and he forbade the killing of women and children.
