Jesus didn't die for the sins of mankind. He wasn't Crucified either.
Jesus, as reported in the New Testament states "I ascend to my Father and your Father, my God and your God"

Also, would it make sense that Jesus would complain to God about his crucifixion "O God why have you forsaken me?" If he knew well what was going to happen to him?

The Qur'an is an authentic revelation that informs us that Jesus wasnt crucified, but someone was put in his place.

Likewise, rationally it doesnt make sense that someone should die for your sins. What is the point of my existence then? If I am here to worship God, shouldnt I be charged based upon how much faith I have in GOD and the actions that result from that? Does it make sense that God would create me with the ability to reason and make decisions just so that I would NOT be held accountable for anything I do?

Our works of righteousness don't save us. The bible says our righteousness is as filthy rags to God. The free gift of salvation is something we can not earn. After we have made the decision to have Jesus as our savior, then we are to follow the 19 commandments and wittiness for Him. This is something that we will want to do as a child of God. We will be rewarded for the good deeds we do on this earth.

We are justified [declared righteous in God's eyes, by God Himself] when we place our faith in Christ, at which time Christ's righteousness is put on our account.

The example of this is Abraham, who believed God, and it was counted [reckoned] to him as righteousness.

Sanctfication is the process where God works in our lives to bring our lives, more & more, into line with His will.

We do works out of a life that been declared righteous by God, and therefore righteous works are an outflow of our restored relationship with Him.

We don't EARN salvation, it's a free GIFT, Jesus paid the full price. We are made FREE, not to do our will, but free to serve Him and do his will, which produces good works.

Hope this helps................Be Blessed, aBranch <><

jesus came here to be an example for all. That as humans like he was once with all temptations he endure and treatment of people and all the things we all face here on earth he was strong and he lived a noble life. Loving and caring and teaching. Also his death unlike before him made it easier to be forgiven by the Lord automatically. But you must try to live your life like Jesus did. By example. If Jesus would have not died for our sins then we would have to burning animal offerings up to today to be forgiven for our sins. And living your life opposite of what Jesus showed us would mean to be mean and hurt others. Would mean not to fallow the rules of morals (10) comentments. And this will bring you trouble, all bad will come to you but is because you bring it to yourself by doing wrong first. If we have to work at not sining is because we are no longer in paradise and our human nature has tendencies that are not aline to the good of God so therefore we have constantly work on ourselves to go against those bad tendencies that we have. But if we sing and we honestly repent we are automatically forgiven. You dont have to burn a cow or goat anymore for that.

He died for our sins & opened a doorway for those truly accepting him. A lot will come, but only few allowed in.
He tells us to "remain in me" Why would we have to be warned to "remain" in him if it was already an easy way in? BTW we do not "earn" or "work" ourselves into Heaven, but we want ot keep remaining in Jesus & GOds love. You wouldn't be accepted into a new job & just sit there would you? No , you'd want to show your boss how well you do, & that is the same with true disciples of Christ, we show God with our actions how we appriciate what his son did for mankind by going out & sharing with others the goodnews, btu this by no means earns us brownie points with the creator.

Before Jesus, we would die and go to hell for our sins. So God sent His Son to save us since there was so much corruption. Now it is through Jesus that we may have salvation and eternal life in Heaven

You do not work for salvation. You will NEVER be good enough to get into heaven on your own works. You works are as filthy rags to God and not one person is good enough to make it to heaven without the blood of Jesus to cover them. Jesus died for our sins so that we could be covered upon acceptance of Him as your Lord and Savior!

The Salvation is done. When we accept Jesus for who He truly is and ask Him to frogive us and to come into our hearts, we are saved "It is the Gift of GOD!!"

As for the righteous acts, we (christians) freely choose to do these out of Love for Jesus and GOD. When we do these acts for His Glory, then we receive the reward that is waiting for us in Heaven!!!
