Why do they seem to complain alot. They are the most popular religion the world. Christianity is the world's most popular religion, with approximately 2.1 billion followers. This includes just over a billion Catholics, about 350 million Protestants, and the Orthodox and Anglican faiths. They have most of the power because most world leaders are christian. Their holidays are NATIONAL and world hoildays. Many laws are based off a Judo-Christian theme. Yet they seem to complain that everyone is bashing them. That everyone is against them. When they seem to have all the power.
Oh and they all seem to quote the bible when asked questions. Any true OPINION answers that don't include a stock answer from the bible.

Just to be clear I am not a christian or part of any religion. I would ask this same question of a Muslim in the Middle East or a Hindu in India. Why complain when you have all the power.

I'm going to take a leap here & guess that you're not Christian?
That's your right, & I wouldn't dream of disparraging your beliefs (no matter how wrong they are...jk!)
A few points of fact...
#1-If they're Christian and not Catholic, they're Protestant..that covers all the rest.
#2-It's actually NOT the most popular, it's being nudged out by Muslim faiths, and the 2.1 billion may be what's on the church rolls, but it's certainly NOT what's on the people's hearts.
The "world holidays" that exist are there because of worldwide religions. (with the exception of New Year's Day) Halloween (pagan) Easter & Christmas--although Christian in origin are very secular & commercialized, and bear little resemblance to the religious celebrations they began as.
I can't think of any national holidays other than Christmas & Easter that are Christian in origin...ok, well, Valentine's day, but that's turned into a romantic sex fest, not at all what St. Valentine stood for.
But then again, the US was founded to protect Christian values & freedoms. And, as a nation, while most of us claim Christian salvation, we havee allowed our civil rights to cover ALL religions.
You hint that our laws are Christian, but in fact, every major world religion's code of morality includes protection of personal & shared property, and physical safety regulations.
And, finally, to say that Christians have all the power, well, if that were true, we'd all be praying in school every day, our courts wouldn't be debating wether we should leave God in our pledge of allegience, abortion wouldn't be available to anyone at any price, homosexuals and fornicators would be stoned.
The problem with your claim is that there are so many divisions among Christian faiths that we have lost the unity that formed these states into a nation.
We all have the right and the priviledge to vote our conscience without pressure from ANY others, including our churches and religions. And, when it comes right down to it, that's what this nation is all about.

They try so hard to persuade people to join them so they are not about to give up easily.
Besides not all Christians are complaining, not all Christians are good, so we cannot say all of them.
And a lot are ignorant too so they use the bible. But some believe so much in the bible and perhaps understand more than a lot of us so they base on it too.
One thought for today, think and do what feels right.

Christianity is the largest religion because of a very popular movement in the middle ages that stressed forgiveness. And of course a lot of Christians complain, just like most Christians do not live a Christian life, what are you gonna do?

We dont complain we just want people to respect our religion, people have started saying seasons greetings, happy holidays, that is very insulting, and the fact that this country is based on Christian values, and people are trying to take "One Nation Under God" out of our pledge, and judges are getting fired because they have the 10 Commandments on the front steps of the courthouse... yeah i think we have a right to complain, and u are judging all the Christian by what a few of them are doing.

Well, it's hard to answer your question but I'll do it anyway. Being Christian does not mean that we stop being human and start being perfect. We are all learning. Christians complain just as America and the UK complain yet they are the world powers, yet they are the richest nations yet they are so blessed with abundance. Having said that Just as we cannot allow what's going on in Dafor continue being unnoticed, or poverty or AIDS or or or... we cannot allow things like persecutions in China or else where go unnoticed. If we allowed them to happen then someone else would complain that we are so selfish that we don't see others suffer (rightly so). To us the Bible is the Truth you may not agree with me on this one just as I would not agree with a Scientist that we originated from apes but we can agree to disagree. That's how I personally see it.
Oh about power. It does not belong to me or anyone but GOD.

I think many people complain alot, Christian or not.
Complaining is a habit that many people develop no matter what religion they subscribe to.
They must be getting something out of complaining if people keep doing it.
This may be more of a mental health issue than a religious issue.
Not everybody complains alot.
Not all Christians complain alot.
Just the Christians who complian alot do.

Christianity right now is being oppressed by a world view of living that does not include God. We are not permitted to say Merry Christmas in schools, cannot Pray in school and people even get mad when you pray in a public rest. before dinner. Public prayer is no longer acceptable. We have to betolerant of everyone elses beliefs without being permitted to talk about ours. Maybe that is why we complain.

We complain because we are not satisfied. we are not grateful.
We are filled with greed. To have any other religion challenge ours or to even grow in popularity would mean that our beloved God would not be as strong and we will not be able to influence politicians nor where would our beloved priest go? Or the Pope?
God forbid they have to get a real job because Scientology has grown more powerful.
See- for every non-believer we lose money- we do not collect as much during church etc...

us christians dont have power we have god, god is the power not us, we just simply believe in him and live our lives to the best of what he wants us to live. as for feeling like be are being bashed by other people, some times we are, i mean how would you like it regardless of your religion, if someone just starts in on you on how your fake, or makes buligerent remarks practically spitting in your face. so yes it happens but no not the whole world does it to us, that is taken out of content. we quote the bible cause it is the truth they are not opinions just he simple truth. some people dont like to hear the truth cause thier truth is different from ours thus the reason for so many other types of religions. my question for you is why are you so upset by this , it seems that you are fighting with things your self from within, this is not the way to fix them by putting things like this up here, look within for the answers or to your own religion wich is obviosly not christian and look for your answers there, and if you dont get one then maybe its aparent that the reason that christian religion is the main religion the biggest is because it is the right one. as far as complaining alot, maybe you just happen to be with some christians that happen to be complainers, but that is not everyone so dont lable all of us christians as complainers or anything else, you have alot to learn but you will everyone will. dont be so angry life is too short as it is.

omg i agree, i mean im christian but it pisses me off so much when ppl just say that as their last ditch effort to win an argument.
i go message boards and whenever someone is loseing a somewhat mature argument they say "ur all against me cuz im christian"
but everyone has the right to complain, and its not fair to me or any of the other 2.1 billion christians when u make generalizations. (o **** now im complaining, maybe it wasnt so general after all :)
