I do because we supposed to follow the Bible.

2Tim.3:16 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God..."

Psalms 119:105 "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."

It seems like most don't want to follow God's Will; but that's their choice. Look what the Bible says about them--
"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then I will professunto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."--Matt.7:21-23

ok alot of that stuff well really the unclean stuff is from the old testimate. Most of that was really for sanitation reasons nothing more, and if you think about it blood is less than clean so it is just best to assume that it is unclean and avoid it. Th Bible says that man and woman are diferent but not unequal, it is more like woman and men balance eachother out. If you read through the new testimate that is what you get. I attend a Catholic all women's college and teh sisters are very open in talking about the equality of men and women in the bible and the role of being clean aswell. I am sure if you were to contact a church someone who can be far mor in depth than me could help you out.

I hope that helped you alittle.

Part of the problem with your question is that you're mixing old testament passages with new testament. Under the NT, which covers us today, women have equal access to the blessings, even while we have different roles. The NT passages (I think that covers #s 1-9) teach that women are to take no leadership roles in the worship assembly, and that wives are to willingly sumbit themselvs to their godly husbands--note this is not a "being under the bootheel," but a recognition that SOMEONE has to take a leading role, and that God has determined that role should be taken by man.

# 11 is unfamiliar to me.

Not sure where #12 is from, but it sounds like Proverbs. Those passages in Proverbs refer to the young man addressed in the book & the "strange woman" (aka the harlot). Yep, she's a snare alright!

Ritual "clean" and "unclean" (#10 & 13) refer to the OT laws for the nation of Israel ONLY and do not apply today, but yes, those were correct for the period they addressed.

Wow how wried it's? that people believe separate but equal still stand in the world today. I can said that Paul wrote this to help people understand that we should give ourselves a good look in the mirror before coming to church or before god. The reason that people believe that women are weaker than man is a big lie because I know of women who are strong in the things of god. I know that Adam and Eve both sin in different ways. Eve sin first
by disobeying god law which was not to eat from the tree of science and knowing wrong from right, but in the other hand Adam followed Eve and sinned. After that Adam lied and Eve followed him. So you see we as men and women both fall. I think that men and women need to work together to do god will. Which is to save others.

In a sense yes, but some of these verses are taken out of context. When approaching an issue you weigh all of scripture, not only portions. For instance, in Acts you see Priscilla (a woman) and Aquila teaching Apollos, Titus 2:3 commands women to teach one another, in the Old Testament Deborah was a judge. Yes, women's roles are different than mens, but that doesn't make them less important.

No.
The Bible can easily be taken out of context.
How many pieces of literature can be written without challenge and last for 2000 years.
It is not bad to start with great questions. Just don't stop there. Keep reading and studying.
I have had troubles with my marriage and have been under the impression that men were the absolute masters.
Well, men are supposed to cherish women as they cherish their own flesh. Men have their duties and placed together, the Bible really is a good framework for a happy marriage.
My relationship has lasted almost 30 years now and I am still learning. Please do not listen to people who just spout off. Learn for yourself.

Are you really interested in Christianity or are you interested in making it appear like a bad religion? Mohammad studied Christianity in the 16th century. You may want to read up on Islam and its roots. I cannot imagine an Islamic person who really wants to look at the history of a religion being very impressed by their own leader's history and the roots of their own religion.

I am a Christian and, while most of your questions are derived from scripture, they are also beliefs that are based on the culture of the time. I believe that ALL we like sheep have gone astray. There is no one, man or woman, without sin on this earth. No person, whether guilty of murder or stealing a pack of bubble gum, is more or less guilty than any other. I also believe that, while the husband should be the spiritual leader in the home, a woman's relationship with God should not be filtered through her husband. That relationship is as deeply personal as the spousal relationship. And, yes, a wife should submit to her husband (I struggle with this tremendously), but a husband is also not supposed to abuse his authority as the head of his home. Biblically, wifes are called a husband's "helpmate". A husband is not to ask anything of his wife that he is not willing to do himself.

What you have written comes from scripture. However, in most cases there is circumstantial information which changes the questions.

#2 is an obvious example. Acts 18:24-27 clearly shows Aquila and wife Priscilla teaching a Jewish man named Apollos (verse 26 - "So he began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Aquila and Priscilla heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately.") So teaching was happening. At that time, only men were members of the Jewish hierachy, so a woman teaching would have come across disrupting in a formal setting, but teaching obviously was occurring. Thus, the issue of "Women should not teach" is an issue of societal sensitivities rather than a "thus saith the Lord" command."

#5 is another such question. Absolutely, a woman should be in submission to her husband (not "man"...husband). Ephesians 5:22-24. But in the next breath you see (verses 25-28), "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish." If you give yourself, even to death, you are submitting yourself in love. It is a duel submission which has wifes walking beside their husbands, not behind or under their feet.

I could go through these all, but I'll just use one other one as illustration: #4. Adam and Eve were not equal in sin? Not equal perhaps in the sense of their sins being different, but since the wages of sin is death -- any sin -- the weight of such sin is inconseqential. Eve was deceived; Adam was rebellious. Both sinned and fell short of the glory of God.

I would encourage the original poster of these questions to not just pick and choose partial scriptures, but to look at the whole of scripture. I would encourage them to understand the difference between the Word of God spoken by God and the Word of God written by man to teach, edify and historically record. Both can be equally anointed by God and legitimate...but there are certainly different weights applied. The life of Solomon is a great example: The Bible accurately records his life and writings...but it also shows as he, in latter life, moved somewhat away from the faith and thus his writings reflected a more jaded, life faith-filled individual who was tainted by the teachings of the world. Worth reading and learning from, but not straight from the mouth of God (as in, God says, "become jaded in life" and "let the world taint your beliefs.").

Enough said. I will assume the questions by the poster are sincere; most times, frankly, when such questions are asked they are done so with ulterior motives.

Disagree. The Bible didn't educate us to admire individuals who worship fake gods. In reality the Bible taught the reverse. The Bible did say to not take God's process and fake that we come to a decision who is going to heaven. But we will pass judgement on situated on God's instructions what we will have to and will have to now not do.
