I see... We are all sinners and fall short of the Glory of God.

It is so simple. Jesus is obviously the only way to be forgiven.

I see that we can't be good enough it is only the work of Christ.

NO ONE ON THIS EARTH IS GUARANTEED TO GO TO HEAVEN JUST BECAUSE THEY BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST!

I can only pray that Jesus judges me worthy...

I know that I can only get to heaven through Jesus. Also, it is not just by this faith in Jesus, nor just the Grace of God, nor just the works that I do. It is a combination of many things.

We receive God's saving and sanctifying grace in many ways, and Christ Himself, into our souls when we are baptized. Yet they also know that Christ Himself has established certain conditions for entry into eternal happiness in Heaven.

"Jesus said to them, "Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him. Just as the living Father sent me and I have life because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on me will have life because of me. This is the bread that came down from heaven. Unlike your ancestors who ate and still died, whoever eats this bread will live forever."" (John 6:53-58)

We will be judged by this as well, so be warned...

"Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord unworthily will have to answer for the body and blood of the Lord. A person should examine himself, and so eat the bread and drink the cup. For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body, eats and drinks judgment on himself." (1 Cor. 11:27-29).

We will also be judged by our faith, but not by this alone, we will also be judged by the works that we do (Justification by faith alone is a Protestant doctrine; it was unheard of in the Christian community before the sixteenth century.)...

If St. Paul meant that faith ruled out the necessity of good works for salvation, he would not have written:

". . . and if I should have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing." (1 Cor. 13:2).

If faith ruled out the necessity of good works for salvation, the Apostle James would not have written:

"Do you see that by works a man is justified; and not by faith only'? . . . For even as the body without the spirit is dead; so also faith without works is dead." (James 2:24-26).

If faith ruled out the necessity of good works for salvation, the Apostle Peter would not have written:

"Therefore, brothers, be all the more eager to make your call and election firm, for, in doing so, you will never stumble. For, in this way, entry into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ will be richly provided for you." (2 Peter 1:10-11).

If faith was the only necessity for salvation, the Apostle James would not have written:

"If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, his religion is vain. Religion that is pure and undefiled before God and the Father is this: to care for orphans and widows in their affliction and to keep oneself unstained by the world." (James 1:26-27)

Christ Himself stated:

"For the Son of man . . . will render to every man according to his works." (Matt. 16:27).

"‘Not everyone who says to me, "Lord, Lord," shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven’" (Matt. 7:21).

I need my faith also...

"Who were those who rebelled when they heard? Was it not all those who came out of Egypt under Moses? With whom was he "provoked for forty years"? Was it not those who had sinned, whose corpses fell in the desert? And to whom did he "swear that they should not enter into his rest," if not to those who were disobedient? And we see that they could not enter for lack of faith."(Hebrews 3:16-19)

When I die, I will not enter the kingdom of Heaven immediately, either...

The Bible distinguishes between those who enter Heaven straightaway, calling them "the church of the firstborn" (Heb. 12:23), and those who enter after having undergone a purgation, calling them "the spirits of the just made perfect." (Heb. 12:23).

Christ Himself stated:

"Settle with your opponent quickly while on the way to court with him. Otherwise your opponent will hand you over to the judge, and the judge will hand you over to the guard, and you will be thrown into prison. Amen, I say to you, you will not be released until you have paid the last penny." (Matt. 5 :26).

And:

"I tell you, on the day of judgment people will render an account for every careless word they speak. By your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned." (Matt. 12:36-37).

The Bible says, "For the wages of sin is death, but the GIFT of God is eternal life (heaven) through Jesus Christ our Lord." Meaning that Jesus Christ died on a cross to pay for our sins, and we just put our faith in what Jesus did on the cross is the substitutionary payment for our sins.

Does this mean that once we accept Jesus as our Savior that we won't sin anymore? No, we will always sin. The Holy Spirit will try to convict us not to do what we have done sinful in the past, but we will still sin. Hopefully, to a lesser extent.

now I am not a well educated religious person but the best answer I can come up with for you is this.
Jesus Christ died on the cross for all of man-kinds sins, even yours. so if you believe in jesus christ and ask forgivness(repent) for your sins you are able to be free of your sins and therefore able to enter the kingdom of heaven. this is just what I believe and I am sure there are alot more answers better than mine and of course all religions have a different answer for you. I would suggest looking into it more

Jesus died for your sin. You are forgiven of all sin, which has been washed away in the blood of the Lamb. All sin, even that which you haven't yet committed. There is only one unforgivable sin, and that is blaspheming the Holy Spirit. The meaning of that is a hot debate between theologians.

John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the
way, the truth, and the life: no man
cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Jesus loves all. He has gone away for a while but He will return again. He is preparing a place for us. This place, He has told us, will be a place where God himself shall be with us. It will be a place full of joy with no sorrow there.

Revelation 21:4
And God shall wipe away all
tears from their eyes; and there shall
be no more death, neither sorrow,
nor crying, neither shall there be any
more pain: for the former things are
passed away.

John14:1-4
Let not your heart be troubled:
ye believe in God, believe also in me.
In my Father's house are many
mansions: if it were not so, I would
have told you. I go to prepare a place
for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for
you, I will come again, and receive
you unto myself, that where I am,
there ye may be also.
And whither I go ye know, and
the way ye know.

This is real and thank God it is. Without it there would be no hope for anyone to be spared eternity in hell. This would be a terrible terrible thing to be looking for. But praise His dear name, He has paid the price for our sins. It is a done deal. Through the blood of Jesus Christ we all have the ability to be with God one day. He tells us so.

Matthew 11:28-30
Come unto me, all ye that
labour and are heavy laden, and I will
give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and
learn of me; for I am meek and lowly
in heart: and ye shall find rest unto
your souls.
For my yoke is easy, and my
burden is light.

GOD DID SOMETHING FOR YOU.

What God did...

Think of it this way... Imagine you're in a courtroom again, you're guilty of many serious crimes. The judge says, "It's a fine of $500,000, or prison." You don't have anywhere near that amount of money, so the bailiff begins to walk you out of the courtroom when someone you don't even know appears. He runs up to the judge with a check and says, "I've paid the fine for you." Now that the fine has been paid, the law no longer has any hold on you. You're free -- because of the gift you were given.

This is what God did for you by sending Jesus to die on the cross in your place. So that you wouldn't have to go to Hell, God sent his only Son, Jesus, to die on the cross -- suffering the punishment that justice demands. Then He rose from the grave, forever defeating death! The Bible tells us, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) If you will repent of your sins and put your trust in Jesus, God says he will forgive all your sins and grant you the gift of everlasting life. Just like the court case we just talked about, if you repent (that means to confess and forsake your sins) and put your trust in Jesus, then you will not have to suffer God's justice in Hell because the payment for your crimes was made by Jesus on the cross.

If you're not sure what to pray, read Psalm 51, and make it a model for your prayer. The words are not "magical," what God cares about is the attitude of your heart. When you pray, it should sound something like this, "Dear God, I repent of all my sins, such as (name them). I put my trust in Jesus Christ as Lord (to say Jesus is your Lord means you are now making Jesus the master over your life) and Savior. Forgive me and grant me your gift of everlasting life. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen."

Now read your Bible daily, and obey what you read. God will never let you down.

Your sin is covered by the righteousness of Christ. Get a Bible, and read the Gospel According to John and then read the Epistle to the Romans.

You have to remember that god Loves humans. And He is Almighty,He forgives. You have to confess your sins to your self, and if you feel that you really did something wrong and you are scared that God will punish you the easiest way is to ask God to forgive you. That means that you are regretting for what you have done, and the sinners are those who feel no shame for doing bad things! No meter in what way,it is just important that you believe in One God,and to pray in your own way..

When you become saved, you are given a new heart with new desires and begin to hate sin as God does.
Once you enter heaven, you are given a much improved heart that also allows no sin.

Thats why we need Jesus... He is without sin and He paid the price for our sins. Only through His blood can we enter heaven.

This is a great question and there is a perfect answer for this question: Jesus. John 3:16..."for God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, that whoever BELIEVES IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE."
