Well, there are 1.3 billion muslims in the world. Being part of a certain religion does not determine whether or not you have a sense of humour, it is simply a personality trait. Having a sense of humour is not mentioned in Islamic teachings. Just as in Christianity and Judaism, muslims are taught to do good deeds and respect others.

no bro sense of humor is not against our religion but it depends first off it shouldn't hurt any body's feelings no matter the other person is Muslim or not secondly it shouldn't be out of limits like it shouldn't be in bad language other wise its all good and of course every person has different personalities so may be Muslims u know don't have the sense of humor...

Sense of humor is not against Islamic laws. Muslims can make fun, play jokes and everything. BUT, if the sense of humor has any sort of intention to disrespect, demean, humiliate or hurt any individual, then it is reprehensible. And the jokes are not supposed to contain any lies and fabrication of facts.

Here is the conflict ...
Non-Muslims sense of humor is usually inappropriate, or perverted, thus NO we do not have YOUR sense of humor.
Our Prophet [pbuh] had a big sense of humor and often joked around. In a clean way.

Well,I think this zeros down to whether you think we're human or not. As a humans were created with senses we didn't ask for neither can we deny.
Also, what's funny to you doesn't mean it's funny it's funny to everyone regardless of race, color, religion,..).
Speaking for myself, I love a good joke as long as it's doesn't involve insult what I hold dearest to me (family, religion,..etc). It's just the high standards I uphold and the sensible person that I am.
These guys are Muslim and funny http://www.allahmademefunny.com/comics.html
They are Muslim comedians, one was a writer for SNL. Try to catch them on tour and judge whether they are funny or not.

Muslims do have wonderful sense of humour, but they are careful what they joke about, and anyway , aren't there more important things to life than making other people laugh.

Sense of humour is not discouraged in Islam. The prophet (sallallahu alaihiwasallam) used to joke with his sahabas (followers). but he refrained from jokes that hurt other people and he also discouraged bursting out laughing. but smiling and short laughter is permissible in Islam.

I never notice that, I'm sure it happened around me but I never paid any attention. One thing I remember well is I used to have a neighbor either Iraqi or Iranian who liked to scratch his balls in front of other people.
