'failing the lord no matter how much i pray'? This could be nothing more than Satan bringing up past failures. Make sure that they are forgiven, then tell him that he is going to burn. 'how much i sit under his word'? If you mean that you are studding, and by 'studding' I mean you take a subject, word, name, &c and find every instance in the Bible ( I sugest a KJV only) that it can be found and coralate it ( usualy by meaning ), Then are you doing what you are studding? Ex: The Sabbath. It is the seventh day, it is the only day that GOD has ever set aside for worship. God has NEVER changed it, nor will He.

Hey man, same here...i feel like im doing the same sins over and over...but ,seriously, we are human right? God knows we sin and He will forgive us if we ask him. Even though things seem hopeless, just remember that God still loves you very much. Don't be discouraged just because you made a mistake...learn from it. Satan wants you to feel this way. That doesn't mean that we shouldnt take sin seriously...but just know that God will forgive you no matter how great the sin (except for blaspheming against the Holy Spirit)

You know what you are doing wrong and that you are doing wrong...thats good, just confess and repent to God...then do your best not to do that again...never give up and keep praying!
God bless you!

To repent, the word was in Greek metanoia, is to turn away from that sin.
Simply put if your sin was visiting pornographic web sites, don't.
Leading the Christian life is hard, especially in these days of self gratification.
Pray and keep walking in the faith of Jesus Christ.
By the way, I am a Christian Pastor and I sin also.

Maybe if you were to look for the real one, not the fairy tale that you have in your coffee table, you'll find solution to your problem.
If you keep on falling with sex, drugs or pleasure is a very difficult fight that you have ahead. The particles that formed your brain and nervous system mostly came from the imperfect red particles.
There is no enough prayer in this world for that, only if you find the real one, you'll resolve your problem, otherwise you live the movie Groundhog Day over and over. Good luck.

I'm not much of a Christian myself, but there are times when I feel like I need the lord, when this happens, I research.

I came across a couple quotes that might help you:

Romans 12:2 says:
Transformation occurs with the renewing of your mind. Live it. Be aware of sins-write them down and try to do better next time.

The next and last quote I'm going to leave to you is from
1 Corinthians 1:9:
Good is faithful.
Look at life closely and find that one part you're trying to control, let go of it, let God take control and see where he takes you.

Take these quotes and try to find yourself with them.
Good luck

If you are doing it over and over again, it can't be a "sin" for you to be doing it.

If it was a "sin," God would strike you dead like he did to all those other "sinners" in the bible.

Obviously, you are supposed to learn a lesson from whatever you are doing, but calling it "sin" is an incorrect use of the term. There are no sinners, God kills them.

first of all if you repent and truly mean it you are forgiven, no matter how many times you repeat the sin, but you might want to think about if you are truly sorry for your sin , if you do not turn from your ways and follow Christ to the Best of your ability. Also if you have truly repented, your doubt and guilt is from Satan not God.

The same as me till I gave up praying and started to talk to him "from the bottom of my heart"
That was the first time I got an answer, then everything changed..
U don´t have to belive me, but it´s truth.
Since that time I´m not christian, I´m beliver, however I think "beliver" is not enough
I´m sure of "him".. :)

i feel this way too i pray to him each night hoping he can make things better and i just keep getting these signs that it isnt working. but i think he is just trying to teach us a lesson and hopefully when we learn what we did wrong he will help us in ways we may or may not notice.. its hard to think that he is helping us in the long run but its also scary when you think he is just ignoring you and you just want it all fixed over night i kno my problem may take a month or two..

you r not the only one who feels this way, see we are not in this alone us God and alot of people forget the adversary satan. It doen't matter what advice people give you only God can bring you through this and you have to really want this change just hang in there no matter how much of a failure you think you are.God never ask us to change our ways and come he said come as you are, if he says come as you are he is the one who is gonna bring us to perfection, just keep asking him to help you change it won't happen overnight but it will.
