because most of society is superficial and nobody cares about feelings, emotions, knowledge, or anything like that. People think that being rich will give you everything and it probably will. But it won't ever give you a rich mind or soul. those people dont understand that was really matters is life after death and that the riches here are nothing compared to what God has planned for us.

The answer is simple. These people have achieved a goal. Whether to become rich, or famous, people wish to seek advice from people who have accomplished their goals.
Other people admire rich or famous people because their are envious of their posessions.

I don't look to Hollywood for answers, I look to Hollywood for entertainment, because Hollywood does a great job making fun of people who condemn those who are looking to Hollywood for entertainment and not answers.

Because they feel these ppl have "made it"......and, therefore must have something the rest of us don't. When in realtiy, most of them just have had more luck, than the rest of us.
Your question is a good one. People need to think for themselves. Role models are well and good.....but, I think it is wise not to accept the ones that are spoon fed/programmed into us by television.
