well people are not BORN gay they are given a choice just like they have a choice in everything else that they do. we have a choice weather we want to be attracted to the opposite sex or the same sex as ourselves we are not forced to be gay. God isn't telling u that u have to like a woman if u are a woman. u'r urging and u are being tempted to be attracted to that other women ( that's an example) God gives us the choice whether we want to follow him or lead our own lives or the lives that a golden statue wants us to live. it's all about choices. God gives us a path but we choose whether we want to follow that path or go our own way in life

Ever since Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden by disobeying God, everyone who has been born has come into the world a sinner. There is no "gay gene", we're all just screwed up. Hence the need for a Savior and God coming down from heaven in the form of a child, living a perfect life, dying on the cross at the age of thirty-three, and rising from the dead on the thrid day to save the world of the sin nature we are all born with. There is no "gay gene" anymore than there is a "murder gene" or a "liar gene". We're born sinners in need of a Savior. Being gay is just another sin that people need to repent of, just like stealing, cheating, lying, and rebelling.

I think that you are a little confused. Being gay is not a sin. You can have a condition that is not appropriate. The sin is if you behave in a gay way. Your actions make the difference.
But let's say that you are not gay. It is also a sin if you have sexual relashionship with women before marriage. Therefore, even for non gays, the rule applies in a slightly different way.
There are rules for everybody, not only for gays, and you can say why would God create non gay people who are going to be ( ? ) sinners.
Nobody has to sin. You are responsible for your actions. That is the point. You can sin or not. That is YOUR choice

According to parts of the Bible, being gay is a sin.
God didn't create people, they evolved. As such, some people are born gay.
So, either God makes defective people or they're just given the poor roll of the dice in the genetic lottery.
If you really think people choose to be gay, ask someone who is gay if he chose to be gay, or if he was born gay?
Think of it like this: People born with brown eyes didn't choose to have brown eyes, they were just born with brown eyes. Same kind of thing.
Genetics.

God doesn't create sin. Sin happens because of the fall of man. Having the genetic disposition for homosexuality isn't a sin, acting upon it is... same way that alcoholism can be genetically transferable but it's not wrong as long as people still drink responsibly

Im answering this as a person who loves God and has no problem with gays.
I believe that some (not all) gays are born that way. But I see it as a birth defect, as is anything that makes us "not normal" This doesnt mean I think gays are diseased or insane or anything like that so dont go there. But I dont believe that God creates man with defect (of any kind) I believe that Satan comes to crush kill and try and destroy all God has made and he is the one that causes all defects, illnesses, and abnormalities.
Now on the same note, if someone is born blind, we dont say "God made them blind" (some do but usually those who are mad at God) but we do things for the blind to help them live as normally as possible. If there is a medicine, treatment or surgery that will cure the blindness, we encourage the person to have it done. If they cannot be cured we still teach them how to live as normally as possible. If said blind person just said "I dont want to be normal God made me this way" we wouldnt be happy with that would we?

*Sigh* Here we go again. This is because everything in the Bible is false. It was the belief of the times-which confuses me because homosexuality has been around and was accepted long before Biblical times. Anyhow, it is a proven medical fact that the brains of homosexuals respond differently to pheromones than a heterosexual's brain. A lesbians brain reacts more like a hetero males', and a homo male, more like a hetero male.
Here is a bit on homosexuality in ancient times:
Sexual customs have varied greatly over time and from one region to another. These, as well as the orientation of particular pre-contemporary figures continue to be studied. Modern Western gay culture, largely a product of 19th century psychology as well as the years of post-Stonewall Gay Liberation, is a relatively recent manifestation of same-sex desire. It is generally not applicable as a standard when investigating same-gender sex and historical opinions and beliefs held by other people.
It is generally accepted that the lives of historical figures such as Socrates, Lord Byron, Edward II, Hadrian, Julius Caesar, Michelangelo, Donatello and Christopher Marlowe included or were centred upon love and sexual relationships with people of their own gender.
WASHINGTON (AP) -- The sexual area of a gay man's brain works a lot like that of a woman when exposed to a particular stimulus, researchers say.
In an experiment, men and heterosexual women sniffed a chemical from the male hormone testosterone. The homosexual men's brains responded differently from those of heterosexual males, and in a similar way to the women's brains.
"It is one more piece of evidence ... that is showing that sexual orientation is not all learned,'' said Sandra Witelson, an expert on brain anatomy and sexual orientation at the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine at McMaster University in Ontario, Canada.
Witelson, who was not part of the research team, said the findings clearly show a biological involvement in sexual orientation.

I don't believe that people are born gay. And the Bible also says that everyone is born with sin, even if you don't become gay.

Depends on the way you view things, maybe the gay person might have some very weird mental condition or believe he/she should be the opposite sex. Or unless you don't believe in god then people are born like that because they chose to be born like that.

If being a liar is sin, how come so many people are "born" liars? If wanting to rape women or have sex with children is a sin, how come so many people are "born" that way?
Behaviors and actions are always a choice.
