Don't feel that they hate liberty and America exactly, but have own opinions that don't really express the true American spirit. They tend to look at the small picture instead of the whole.

If liberty means allowing gays to marry, "under God" to be taken out of the pledge, and twisting the constitution to meet the needs of leftist liberals...then yes, I hate liberty and America.

Most Bush supporters and Gore supporters , do NOT hate liberty and America.
Even the question is sad because it shows a contempt for the AMERICAN system of liberty. Which prides itself in the ideology of allowing each person to have a personal liberty of such things as freedom of speech (to support or not support Bush for example) or freedom the press; (we can put in writing and even broadcast our support or lack of support for Presidents) or the right of the people to peaceably to assemble(showing support or lack of support)
Therefore supporting bush does in no way show a hate for liberty or America.
Liberty does not mean freedom to do what one pleases but only the freedom (that liberty has purchased) to live peacably within the framework of our system of laws and constitution that helps us maintain our system of liberty.
Some who maintain a strict libertarian belief system would put an end to most laws - no speed limits, no building codes, no EPA (no clean air/ water regulations) , no OSHA (safety regulations) , no illegal or legal drug limitations, no minimum ages to marry, have sex, etc. No mandatory education (liberty to be educated or uneducated).
Most do not understand our form of government, and mistakingly believe that we are a Democracy when in fact we are a Republic.
We have some democratic ideas and methods but we are a Republic.
Nonetheless, America can be loved by both Bush haters and Bush supporters

Well Im a Christian, I am not a Bush supporter... I also think America has a strange set of liberties. Its ok to kill a baby but its not ok to smoke in a bar?
Im not against liberty, but Im against saying "we are free" when we arent.

That's what happens when you follow Caesar and not Christ. Bush has done a lot for pro-life issues, but some of his policies are clearly against the principles of Christianity. A true Christian would not support a secular and partisan ideologue like Bush.

b/c they think they can **** the country up.
they r trying to destroy all that the founding fathers built, a country that is here for EVERYONE, not just the striaght, english speaking christians. the founding fathers didn't put a national religion or language in the constitution for a reason, to show that we are here for anyone, of any religion, any decent, and any sexual oreintation, and that dumbass who wants to call himself president has decided that he is more powerful than that, and can change everything that we stand for. thats why they hate liberty and america

Let's face it, Bush supporters are big corporations who hate the average working man and those working men make up America.

A better question to ask might be why did so many rimrods vote for him in the first place and...if you didn't vote you helped to put him in office!
For those who think this country had xtian roots think again...learn to read and you'll see that many of our founding fathers were NOT xtian
Let's all return to the Goddess our real and original roots!

I love Bush, God and my country, not necessarily in that order. We would love to see America return to its Christian roots.
