How many of you are disgusted with the number of advertisements for booze this time of year? I am! I think there is so much more to the holidays than drinking in order to celebrate -- it's time the booze makers take some responsibility for those holiday drunks on the road killing innocent people!

If I had to choose before it'd probably be the Burberry clad sector, but with their renumeration level and apparent incompetence in managing sustaining the financing for loans I'm leaning towards Merchant Bankers.

What is it about family life that causes us to forget about everthing that needs change or improvement in our society. Shouldnt bringing a new life into the world make it all that much more imperative?

I have never done this before, but I have never been so desperate.

A couple days ago I made the foolish mistake of skateboarding with no shoes or protection and of course I fell. I ended up getting the expected bloody scrapes on my elbows, knee, and also a scrape on top of my right foot.

Well I disinfected with 91% iso alcohol yet the foot has become infected and I can't walk on it! I had to miss the reviews for my finals because I couldn't walk to class. Luckily students gave me notes to help.

I want medical help for my foot because I can't sleep due to the pain. I know it sounds pathetic, trust me I feel pathetic, but this scrape hurts more than any bone I have broken. Picture below.

I also am a supporter of Ron Paul, and want to be involved with politics. I want to help in Iowa, expenses are covered except transportation. I have 3 bucks to last me until new years when I get a job.

Muslim women can play any sport they want as long as they do not show past their ankles. They cannot wear things without sleeves either. Do not show you chest or mid section. That's it! I play all sports. I play hard. I follow the religion, but it doesn't stop me from doing anyhting. I play hard in gym, kick hard, hit hard, run hard. I play baseball, softball, basketball, tennis, hockey (all kinds), I run at least 10 hard minutes a day non-stop, no walking, no stoping, I even swim, and do karate. Just follow those rules.

Shouldnt they apply to everyone?? If a black kid were to get beaten near death while walking home from school by a group of white kids there would be news stories across the country covering it.Million man marches would be formed riots and looting you name it. If the kid happend to be white and the attackers were black NO ONE WOULD BAT AN EYE in this country????Case and point http://urbangrounds.com/2007/12/07/another-black-on-white-hate-crime/

if the female in this story would have been black the nation would have been turned upside down.I think racism goes both ways, and white people are entitled to civil rights just like anyone else.If saying so makes me a racist so be it.You know and I know thats just ignorant anyway, and no I'm not going to agree with you just because MTV or the popular media tells me to.The hell with that, if the system will not protect us then I say do what you must to protect yourself.

Even though I am pro-life, pro-choice and pro-life debates aside here (because nobody ever wins those and everyone always has something to counter someone else)...
WHAT ON EARTH COULD MAKE A PERSON WANT TO BECOME AN ABORTIONIST?
I came across this the other day and seriously almost teared up.... (please be advised before visiting the link that it's an actual account from a nurse who witnessed an abortion and she leaves nothing to the imagination...)

They come down my street after school, and I have seen them steal out of a neighbours yard, break things in another, and have thrown snow balls at my window..... I yelled at them when they threw the snowballs, thinking they would be scared or something (cause these kids are all under 12, and the worst ones are a couple of little kids, probably 7 years old), but they thought it was even funnier, and the next day they came through and were laughing about kicking my door in...... I decided to call the principal of their school (cause I don't know who they are) This calmed them down for a couple weeks, but today they came down my street, and one of the 7 year olds picked up a snow ball and was going to throw it at my car (until I went out and asked him what he was going to do with it). I spoke to their principal again, she says she is going to talk to the kids again on Monday, and probably call their parents about it.....but I doubt that's going to do anything...

I am referreing especifically to law enforcement and not to the wars America is currently conducting. Examples: the recent massacre in a mall in Nebraska by a teen with an AK-47, Virginia Tech massacre, the three small children that allegedly raped an 11 year-old, female teacher who allegedly had sex with a 13 year-old male student of hers, professional athlete who ran illegal dog fights, children who beat up an autistic child and post it on Youtube, girls who post beatings on fellow classmates on youtube, teen convicted of taking a gun to school and killing the principal for doing nothing about bullies, and so on. Criminals seem to get younger every year.

Do you really?

Do you NOT buy the nice expensive clothes, do you not have a GREAT quality TV, good computer, nice steak dinners, change in your pocket. If you do, it means you would RATHER spend your money on that, than the starving children in the world. We as a society don't care about poverty. The wealthy important upper class people couldn't care less. Religion too, The Christian church body ( all churches combined) would raise up an estimated over 80 billion dollars a year, NOBODY try to say that disappears into the clergy's wages, or all goes to fights poverty, that could set up thousands of big projects in Africa and help a LOT more. Effectively it could start ending poverty.

We don't seem to care.

Human nature.

A lady realizes she's become pregnant due 1 night she was sexually assaulted. She doesn't find out until 3 mons later, b/c everything was normal until then. She's single, but was in the process of starting a new relationship. Since she's found out she's with child, should she a) pursue the relationship and hope for understanding, but also risk being rejected; b) just forget about the relationship and focus on her developing fetus; c) put off the relationship, give the child up for adoption and then pursue her relationship, or d) hope its not too late for an abortion?

If there are other options please add.

Why is it acceptable for famous African Americans to be publicly racist and makes racist remarks?

I have heard a lot of thing that Barry Bonds has said, and more or less his motivation to beat Babe Ruth's record was because Ruth was white and he is black. He also made remarks that his motivation for the single season record was because of his racial hatred for Mark McGuire. That no "cracker" should hold the record.

Why has no one demanded he make apologies?

Why can black rappers use the "N" word 7 to 10 times in a song, but Don Imus makes a off handed remark and he loses his job?

I have no problem being active in trying to stop racism and bigotry, but why do SOME African Americans think its ok for their own people to do it?
