I agree with the first & third answers. But, If I had to pick one out of either good or evil, I would say evil, because if the opposite were true, God wouldn't have had to send Jesus. Ppl really need to open our minds & hearts bcuz all of the bad things in this world didn't just come from nowhere - every little action has an effect.

That depends on the person. Look at the word 'evil'. Reverse it says 'live'.
If someone lives his/her life fully, no holding back sweetness nor punches, then live is good.
If someone don't say what they want to say, do what they want to do, always avoiding life ... the person is not really living ... then the reverse is true 'evil. Then life is miserable, you start hating everyone, when the person is the only one holding him/herself back.
The mind works in opposites - good/bad, up/down - so does life here as our collective mind manifests life as it is. So enjoy the good times and good people, enjoy the bad times and bad people. They are both valuable to life experiences.
The bad people, bad times beat us down, giving us the opportunity to struggle and get back up - exercising our strength, courage, power and trust in ourselves. The good times, good people support us and give us a break from the bad times.
Both are needed to grow .. that means both good and bad people are needed to play this growing game.
So ... mankind is both good and evil ... and ultimately neither .. it is what it is as of now. Nothing is static.

People aren't basically evil or good, its society that changes them into what they become. Humans are the only true ones that have a conscious, so until it is possible for someone to truly think and understand their actions, then they are judged by themselves how evil or good they are.

Evil is defined by God as sin. We, therefore, are of a sinful nature for all sin is against God and therefore evil.

depends on who you are talking about...
everyone is a bit of both, like the image of people having a white angel on one shoulder and a little devil on the other... sometimes we listen to one, sometimes the other. Whats important is listening to the angel more than the other!
