I'm watching Oprah right now and she is doing a show on polygamy. Further, I've always been intrigued by the subject. I feel that it should not be criminal and it a bunch of women want to share one man, then more men for me! However, I would be disappointed if my husband came to me and said he wanted to life a polygamist lifestyle.

So, how do you all feel?!!!

how many people here have seen someone blatantly abuse authority(i.e. teacher, boss)?
i was wondering what people think about the hierarchy it seems like we have inside whats supposed to be a free country

This is not a racist question. I am white, and i see that a lot of white people feel that they are superior than other races. However what do white people really have to show for it? we're not the best athletes, we're not the best singers, we're not the best dancers, we're not the most intelligent, I mean really, why do white people think they're better than everyone else when in reality we're the low man on the totempoll?

yahoo news today, has a story of a man convicted for urinating on and laughing at a disabled woman as she lay dying on the street with a head injury. this was no kid either it was a grown man, who filmed the dying woman on his mobile phone as he and his mates laughed and joked and basically abused her as she died...why is this happening for gods sake??

I bring this up because here in Saint Louis, and many parts of the US, and the world too, its seems that more and more men are getting caught with pictures on the computer they took in to have repaired, or something else gets them caught. My question is.. Why is this happening to so many fathers, preachers, school teachers, and almost every level you can think of! Are there that many closet pedophilles, or are these just people who were curious and got caught? I am of the believe, that as much has I love technology, that with the advent of the computer, we have started a major problem.. an addiction to the images that are so readily available now! I mean.. these people you read about everyday, or seen on Fox New Channel, these are people that live next to to you and me! What are your thoughts on this topic?

This is very ridiculous and an example of how our country is ruining the future of our youth, needlessly overburdening our prisons and making criminals out of young teens. I just saw the story on the georgia teenager who was sentenced to a 10 yr jail sentence for consectual oral sex at a party. The guy was 17 and the girl 15 at the time.

This is nothing but a ridiculous sentence that does nothing but ruin lives. And it pains me to think that some green eyed kid ends up spending 2 years in jail and may come out a little more hardened and exposed to the world of crime.
What do you think about the sentence, not the eventual overturn?
