Not really a big deal. I never really think that I'm white or that I have brown hair or blue eyes. My physical features aren't who I am, my character and personality are who I am. 2D

I think that's a little strange. Not in a bad, need to change way. Just a little odd. It is great that you live in a community where nothing happens to remind you that you are not the visual norm. I happen to have skin that is a little lighter than most but I haven't had a situation that I forgot I was black. That was just something that was ingrained from a long time ago.

I think that's good. People shouldn't treat each other according to their race. I live in the US South and am the only worker among my peers that is white. I am very aware that I am white and they are not. Most of them are good towards me, work with me, laugh with me. I know people are people. I treat the white residents and black residents the same. Once in a while, they do remind me I am white. We always eat in the cafeteria together, the food isn't that bad, sometimes it's good. One co-worker asked me why I loaded up my plate with collard greens all the time, and I said that I liked them. Then she asked if I knew how to cook them and I told her no, only to be told,"I didn't think you people knew you to make them." Another co-worker told me I was the least stuck-up white girl she knew. Is that a compliment? It's hard not to be aware of your race in the South, people are very conscious of it. People are people are people.

I think if you went about day to day life conciously thinking about being black then then that would be weird. You don't realise because you don't classify yourself as just black. Unfortunately ignorant people will do that for you.

It means you are integrated within your community.
Don´t thiks is weird, every black person shouldn´t realise they r black and every white person should not realise they are white. The same a blonde doesn´t. Color isn´t relevant.

At first I was like "huh"? But I get it now. I guess I'm the same way. I mean I don't go around thinking everyday "I'm black" it's kinda like general knowledge.

No I think that is good.
It's like you've transcended the barriers of race and are just living your life.
I think it would be good if everyone just overcame racial barriers and were just people. It would be a beautiful thing.
