What have you done lately to make someone else happy?
Do you smile at strangers and are thrilled when they smile back with a twinkle that says thank you?

You guys are great, thanks for making me smile. If no one smiled at you yet today...I AM!

Not too many people smile at strangers in New York City. That "twinkle" you think you see just might be a stainless steel knife. I wiped the front of a babe wearing a low cut dress after she accidentally poured a drink down the front. I don't know how happy she was but I enjoyed myself.

My problem is that I try to do everything I can to make my family's life easier. I'm out of work so I babysit my granddaugher whenever asked. My other son is getting married so I offered to do a lot of running around for the bride to be...who's a great girl! I loan (ok, give!) money to my kids whenever they ask because I know they need it (car payments, etc). Yes, I say hi to everyone that I come in eye contact with....give money to older folks at the grocery store when they're short, try not to buy gas when it's raining so the guys who make minimum wage don't have to come out and get wet.

I try to be the best I can........whether it's appreciated, someday I'll find out!

I can be nice when I want to. But honestly, I don't like most people. Some people are so stupid these days it's just embarassing. I'm nicer than I want to be...I go off on people in my head probably at least 10 times a day. yay for being a Biiitch!! :) Pms will do that to ya ;)

I'll smile to any one and most of the time not waiting for a smile back, it it does feel good when the other person does.
My philosophy is not to have any one else spoiled my day.

Yes, I smile at people and say "Hi",and I wave, etc. all the time but they never smile back.

It's like someone would rather take a thorn to the eyeball than to smile and say "Hi". *sigh*

Cheers

i do try to be nice because I always have a guard up when it comes to strangers. I worked in customer service for so long and people were always so mean to me and I hated the general public for it and I trusted everyone to always look down on me and treat me badly and yell at me for everyone's mistakes and to take their problems out on me.

But as soon as I got out of that field, Ive noticed people arnt that bad. And I try to be alot nicer and trusting to people now

Usually I'm a very nice person. I try not to be a ***** to anyone who doesn't have it coming.
And yes, I smile at strangers, expecially the hot ones!!

I would like to say that, but I'm not. I'm just always very confused and lost. I also have very little friends and my brother hates me. I'm depressed and angry at the world. No, I am not a nice person.
