Yes to both!
I went to the ER for what looked like Shingles ... Thanks to a quick thinking Doc, she ran tests and found out it was not shingles it was lupus!
I took my oldest daughter, looked like she'd had a stroke ... she was 7 at the time, it turns out it was a seizure that did not go into full activity. She started to have seizures at the age of 3 months. She has now been diagnosed as having Epilepsy!
Hubby's a first responder! Know many EMT's, Fire fighters, Nurses and ER staff! A BIG THANKS AND MILLIONS OF HUGS!

Yes, for a terrible migraine, after 3 hours of waiting in the waiting room, finally went back to see the E.R doctor, waited back there for over an hour, couldnt open my eyes, couldnt stand the noise, couldnt stand anything at that point, finally got a shot...it didnt work so they gave me another it helped , finally got back home after being there 8 hours. Then 2 days ago my mother fell, broke her wrist, and had a huge gash on her head. Ran her to the E.R., sat in the waiting room for 3 and a half hours. finally went back saw the DR got stitches (4)went to X-Ray they set her wrist and told her to see a bone Dr the next day so he could cast it and we went home. I realized there is no such thing as an "emergency" in our 1 and only hospital around here. Oh and by the way. when I took my mom in, there was only 1 person in that waiting room other than us. Couldnt and still cant figure out why the hell it took so long.

When i was seven i had to go to the ER. I slipped at the front of my house, and my leg went through a plate glass window. It cut me to the bone. Seriously, I could see it. Had about a hundred stitches from memory..........

I've been there. In fact, every member of my family has been there. I have a husband and 3 girls. One year we all went for different reasons and at different times. I honestly think we paid for one wing of the hospital. But we're fine. Good luck. 2D

Nope but maybe one time when I was a baby. I dunno if I went to the emergency room or not. I was told that when I was a baby on my walker, I walked to the door that leads to downstairs. I opened the door (since I was a smart baby jk =p) and then I slid down the stairs! I hit my head on this pipe but I'm still smart. =p
