We owe this universe from the next generation. We should feel responsible for them. What we are doing now to our universe, in our area of responsibility, has an effect, whether beneficial or disadvantage, to our children and our children's children.

Your suggestions will help me and others see other alternatives how to live life better and responsible.

Thanks

Why/why not?
(e.g If someone in a hideous outfit asked how they looked would you say "Yeah it looks great!" or do you speak frankly and tell the truth?)

I was talking with someone yesterday and we ended up talking about this generation (Gen. Y?) This is my generation, by the way... anyhow, I've noticed that people my age don't seem to be interested in anything. So may things are offerend to us without us having to fight for it, work hard for it, or earn it. There is no challenge. Are you noticing this too? Or do you disagree? do events in the '60's (in America) have anything to do with it?

As far as I know, there isn't any name for it:

Raising your eyebrows in moderate succession, usually with a smile. It is supposed to be slyly suggestive, or usually sexually suggestive.

I hate marijauna. I hate drugs. It's so stupid. And I hate that everytime I walk in to my building it smells like stank weed. Some very strong kind too! I think I get high just walking through the cloud of it and they play degenerate rap music too that vibrates my wall. It's this white girl that lives with a black guy and she has like 5 different black guys running in and out of her apartment. And they all look me up and down everytime I come through. It's starting to annoy me! What do I do? I don't want my tires sliced up tomorrow so?

I'm a male. I'm 19 ys old, and I'm a 1st generation Irish American. Both my parents r from Ireland & r both ethnically Irish. I love only one country though & that country is America. I have no political or national loyalty 2 Ireland only 2 America. I understand that Americans intermarry w/people of different ethnic origins (like German, Polish, & English 4 example) & races (Asian, Black, Hispanic etc.), but since I have pure origins I don't want 2 break that apart (and people don't tell me about how the Irish are made up of Celts, Danes, Anglo-Saxon etc. because i know and thats what makes the Irish irish---those combinations made what we know as the Irish so there is such a thing as being pure Irish). Like I said though i won't break that up. I will only marry and produce someone who is of 100% Irish origin . I'm an American only but I want to carry on this Irish ethnic pureness. R there any pure Irish-Americans out there or other pure ethnic Americans who wish to do the same thing?

Personally I feel in 1000 years we'll either be extinct or drastically reduced in numbers. When ever it does happen we'll probably be the only species in this planet to ever cause our own extinction, how sad is that.

What say you?

Why do I ask this question, well when you use the net if you look at various sites you are forced to confront issue that you may not encounter in your daily life with the people around you. I'd say its definitely true that things like pornography and free speech websites have touched people in countries where those items just don't exist. Everyone has heard people in developing countries complain about the American media influencing their culture through things like pop music, MTV, and movies. Now people can access the net and see almost anything. You can try to stick to certain websites but on the net you often accidentally make one wrong click and you will see something uncensored. A small spelling error and your search brings up some curious sites.

I usee the word 'liberalizing' because in my view it reflects more tolerance of new ideas. Maybe its the wrong word. tell me if it is.
Does using the net have a stronger effect on the evolution of values?

If prostitution and pornography are both bad which do you think is worse for society and what are your reasons for thinking as you do?

Examples: Availability of weapons is the reason there's so much violent crime in the U.S. It has nothing to do with the fact our materialistic/independant society tends to isolate some people.

God is only responsable for the good things in the world. All the stuff we don't like is the responsability of the Devil.

JFK was shot by a lone, crazed lunatic. He wasn't pissing a lot of people off and Lee Harvey Ozwald had a lot of help.

The availability of drugs is why so many people are addicted. Once again, it has nothing to do with people feeling isolated in our society.

Feel free to disagree with any of this. Just food for thought.

Yes, we lead the pack. It is estimated that there may be as many as 1,000 serial murderers whose crimes have not yet been connected by Law Enforcement and who wander the country, caught in their phobia, killing for the fun of it. That's not counting the ones that are known and on the Most Wanted List, as well as those already caught and convicted.

Reports tells us that Europe has very few serial killers. In fact, in many countries they are virtually non-existent. England, with its Jack the Ripper and a doctor who killed his patients, has had its share. But no country has as many as the U.S.A.

What could be the cause of this? Is it something in our food, our water, our culture, our freedoms? What turns an average looking young man like Ted Bundy into a monster? Some might believe that movies and television might bring on these urges, but the truth is, Europe is saturated with American films. Why does this affliction affect males far more than females?

I dont just mean a little bit and I don't just mean compared to nations like N Korea. I am talking about the percentage of US citizens incarcerated in the US is 7 times higher than the percentage incarcerated in every other western industrialzed nation.

Neither drugs nor violent crimes account for the discrepancy. If all drug related incarcerations were illiminated in the US and if all violent crimes were illiminated in all countries, the US would still incarcerate 3 to 4 times more of its citizens than other western industrialized nations. Sources below.

I can only think of two possible answers.

1) The people of the US are more wicked and have darker hearts than all the peoples of the rest of the world.

Or 2) Law enforcemnt theory in the US places an characteristically high and usualally rigorous degree of importance on punishment.

My daughter went to the shops to buy a spray deodrant - 'Impulse' was on special, buy one get one free so she took the 2 cans to the check-out, do you have any id? she was asked, well no she replied - Well I can't sell this to you if you are under 18. Had she been trying to buy a bottle of Vodka, glue, spray paint or similar I would welcome this check, but deodrant, is this not crazy? If this is a policy of the shop, should this rule be on show at the shops entrance?

I have always wondered why some people are so arrogant they think they even have a say in what their neighbors do. Were they born with a silver spoon in their *** and the doctor forgot to take it out? And does anyone else think covenants should be illegal? There are not any in my subdivision, but they are still wrong.

IIt is just one thing after another. They were really friendly when we moved in then bang over night turned into satan. First I knew we had fallen out was social services turning up with some complete rubbish story by her next door about me abusing my son - lies. Then we had police coming round about alledged hooting of the car horn! Then social services again with another lie and then benefot fraud investigater.
They shout and swear at us and bang on the wall and shout through the wall.We have not retaliated but they just keep at it. All day everyday we can hear bangs and crashes and her shouting and swearing at her young children...then starts on us. Am totally fed up. Today we were driving out of the drive and they were coming up the street. That was it...now tonight I heard him saying we had been leaning out of the window making dog noises. He is totally on something as everything is complete ****. Anyone experienced anything similar?

where are the Rappers and Rockers when a disaster strikes and relief, in the form of money, is needed? these people have all this money, as evident on MTV cribs/cars/clothes, but not one can step forward and DONATE a cool million or two to help some of the people that has helped them!
