I gave him a small amount of money. But today I wonder if I should have given him useful advice instead, to help him get ahead in the world. For example, becoming more politically active. What do you think?

I am trying to bring my chronically ill parent out of the house for some fresh air (gardens, restaruants, mall), rather than couping him up 24/7 in the house. But my siblings are constantly telling me I have to be sensitive to the public as the sight of feeding tubes through his nose is disgusting. I want to bring my dad out, but, does the sight of a wheelchair bound patient with feeding tubes bother the bublic at all (say, you were in a restaurant)?

This question has been asked for so many years now. This time however, stop blaming the government, the system, etc. What are you doing right now to help solve this problem? Are you contributing more to this problem or its the other way around? Your answers need not be heroic of some sort. Your simple deeds will do, as long as it help solve poverty crisis in the Philippines.

Right not we are a stressed out society. I have a feeling the violence and racism we see are results of stress our society is faceing. Not simply angry "stupid" ppl.
Right now we like to believe we are rich and well off and better because the war isnt fouhgt in our country, but we are dealing with a hell of alot.
It been proven decades past the number of lynching went up the same time economic stress was rampant. Cotton was not selling, more ppl lynched.
Could we just be seeing another patch of "modern day lynchings" ?

If not can you tell me why you think its OK to be uneducated, wear that hilarious clothing, and stand on the street corners all day instead of getting a job and then living off the government. because that is what black people do and there are exceptions but that all I see.

Today people of different countries work together, live together and enjoy together. The feeling of difference is slowly reducing with the spread of globalisation. The invent communication networks such as internet ,mobile has reduced the distance. This is the time to think about converting world into a city where we have the feeling of togetherness.

I'm a senior, quiet, a little shy, not many friends, little bit of an outcast, do activities alone, although I am ranked 10th out of 500 people in my class in grades & have a cut body. I'm probably going to go to a crappy college because we have little money. No girlfriend either. People consider me the "smart nice quiet guy" Will I change my ways after high school and become more extrovert? It has been tearing me inside since 10th grade when I realized I was such a loser.

(1) I hate it when a waitress or waitor doesn't write down the order and then gets it mixed up.
(2) I hate it when people stick their car too far out into the road before they make a turn and I have to go around their car.

Of course I live in chicago, which has amazing public transit. Also, I drive a hybrid, though only about once a week. Still. I live in Memphis for years, a decidely driving city with a crap bus system. However, I used to play this game where I'd look in passing SUV's and count how many people were in them. About 95 percent of the time it was one person. Yet they have the audactiy to think it is their RIGHT to low gas prices? Says who?

Working people frequently ask retired people what they do to make their
days interesting ... Well for example, the other day I went into town
and went into a shop. I was only in there for about 5 minutes, when I
came out there was a cop writing out a parking ticket. I went up to him
and said, "Come on man, how about giving a senior citizen a f*****
break" He ignored me and continued writing the ticket. I called him a
Nazi turd. He glared at me and started writing another ticket for having
worn tyres. So I called him a s---head. He finished the second ticket
and put it on the windshield with the first. Then he started writing a
third ticket. This went on for about 20 minutes. The more I abused him,
the more tickets he wrote.

Personally, I didn't care. I came into town by bus. I try to have a
little fun each day now that I'm retired. It's important at my
age..........

Or is it simply a figment of our imagination, created for our own desires to feel wanted?
Maybe it's simply a lie we tell ourselves & others to get attention. What do you think?

In Abbotsford, Wis., in August, Harvey Miller, 43, and Edwin Marzinske, 55, were both ticketed for DUI while driving the same car. Miller has no legs but was steering; Marzinske was operating the foot pedals. Hence, both men argued to police that neither of them was, by himself, "operating" the car. I ask my mom why are models so skinny? she says they have to starve themselves in order to stay that way and I'm like that's horrible! Only a cracker a day and lots and lots of water! Half a cracker! No fat! I couldn't survive a day without eating no fat! I think models are ridiculous anyone and send bad mesages to young girls who strive to be thin all their life. I am a full figured teen and I have troubles with weight but do you really think it's alright to look like this?

This is more for guys because we well, take leaks differently. But as far as I go, if the restroom is empty, I'll just take a quick piss at the urinal and then head out. If there are others around, I'll quickly wash my hands so as not to seem dirty.

And before everyone goes "eww you don't wash your hands?" I firmly believe that my urine excretion device is much cleaner than the handles on the faucets, the paper towel dispensers or air hand dryers, and the door. So I would probably be getting more germs on my hands after washing. Unless of course the restroom has the motion detecting sinks/dryers.

Of course, I only do this when I'm in a hurry at school or at work. I HAVE to wash my hands before I eat any meals to be able to enjoy them, especially out in public (sometimes if I make something small and easy at home that only requires a utensil to eat, I'll skip it). And if there's any "splashing" during my urinal usage, I will definitely wash.

you shouldnt be posting pics of yourself like that online and asking that, you never know who is looking at the pics and girls who have self esteem problems are the ones that are targeted by creeps. keep in mind most of you guys are still growing and your faces will still change slightly, just be happy with who you are.
