Or is it simply a figment of our imagination, created for our own desires to feel wanted?
Maybe it's simply a lie we tell ourselves & others to get attention. What do you think?

I meet the young lady I married 26 years ago.And when I tell people that I knew it was love most just say I made it up,but I know what I felt.
26 years ago I gave her a ride from a store. It was a cold rainy day when I gave her a ride. When we stopped in the parking lot near her apartment she gave me a kiss on the cheek.TO this day I can describe the feeling,I saw a light flash and a bell ring.I got a flush feeling and could see fireworks and hear sirens.
Come June of 2008 we will be married 25 years so I can say Yes Love is real.

Yes it is. And we will recognize it when we stop thinking love is based on our feelings alone. That deep desired feeling we have for someone, the longing is simple LUST. Love is an action. A good example of love is do you have any childrens and you love them how does you ACT toward them to express your love. Go from there. Remember lust takes from you, and love gives to you.

i think there's a sayin that goes... "it's mind over matter.. if you don't mind, it don't matter".. and, for the most part.. people have feelings that come from within.. some sort of attachment, with a sense of caring.. I'm not sure if it'd be considered lying to ourselves.. that we care for others, so that in the end they will care for us... But that is an interesting way to look at it.
